About: Hi, I’m Sophie! I attended a vocational trade school where I studied Animal Science for three years. I gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of small and large animals, while learning proper handling and restraints, health and behavior, as well as how to safely administer oral and injectable medications. Through my training, I became certified in animal first aid and CPR. I also have experience caring for puppies/kittens, senior animals and pets with special needs, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining consistent routines. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and also worked at a kennel in high school, so I have spent years caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Because of that, I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I give the best care and attention that I possibly can. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing in the yard, relaxing on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, we are committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m Dylan and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a ton of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up on a farm and have always had multiple pets at a time, so I learned responsibility and animal care at a young age. I currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats of my own, and I love spending time with them—whether it’s going on runs with my dogs or cuddling up with my cats. I’m calm, patient, and always make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with love and respect. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, some playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away! I’m currently working a full-time job Monday through Thursday, from 6am until anywhere between 3pm and 5pm, depending on the day. I have Saturdays and Sundays off, and occasionally Fridays. Sophie works 2pm to 10pm a few days a week, her schedule is different every week. Since our schedules are opposite and Sophie has a bit more free time, one of us is always available to spend a good amount of time with your pet. The first thing we do when taking care of our own pets, or others pets, is let them out to go to the bathroom. Next, we prioritize feeding and medicating (if necessary) and cleaning and refilling all water bowls. Once everything important is taken care of, we then spend quality time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, cuddling or going for a walk. Before we leave, we make sure we let them back outside for a good while to make sure they take care of all of their business.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old! What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors turned into years of experience caring for all kinds of furry friends. 🐶🐱 I also have experience handling pet emergencies, administering medications, and responding efficiently when urgent situations arise. I’ve always loved being the person people can count on when their pets need a little extra love and attention. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, which is why I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, responsibility, plenty of affection, and, of course, lots of belly rubs and playtime! ❤️🐾 As a server and bartender, my flexible schedule allows me to spend my free time doing something I truly love—caring for animals! I also love being outdoors and taking pets on walks and adventures where they can experience new sights, exciting smells, and plenty of fresh air. I care for every pet as if they were my own while following their normal routine and their owner’s specific instructions. I learn each pet’s personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, and preferences to help them feel comfortable. In my client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything clean and secure, and provide plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection. I enjoy taking dogs outside for safe, supervised walks and adventures when appropriate.

About: I’m Kaylee! I am currently a Sophomore at UD studying Wildlife Conservation and Ecology. I have loved animals all my life and I want to dedicate my life to taking care of them and protecting those in need. I have experience with animal care since I was very young. I have worked as a pet bather at a grooming salon and I have worked at a dog kennel! I am very excited to meet your animals and take the best care of them! I am a Sophomore in college and I have a lot of free time. My free days are The weekends, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I may also be able to work in some Tuesdays and Thursdays. I will make sure that your animals feel safe and are protected while you are away. I bring happy energy to hopefully cheer them up while their family is away!

About: I have taken care of many animals and give the best care I can while sharing pictures and updates to the owner. I can work with food motivated animals to do simple tricks. I am starting college shortly but I still will dedicate as much time as I can to taking care of animals. Breaks and days I don't have classes will be for anyone needing pet care! I have a car and can go to clients' houses and take care of their pets, as I have done often for friends and neighbors. I have a partially fenced yard for leashed play. I am in a house under construction but the top floor is finished and houses my two kittens. Calmer dogs would be better if coming into my house, otherwise I am able to care for any size or personality in the owners house.

About: Hi, I am Becky and I am a lifelong animal lover. I have always had pets in my home since birth. My husband shares my passion for animals and has served as a Vet Tech in the Army. As we have traveled the world, we have watched pets of all ages and sizes. My kids love having furry friends visit and enjoy joining me when walking the dog. So much so, my daughter's first word was "kitten." In our home, we have a beautiful black lab, tortie kitty, and a handful of geckos that live in our backyard. Now that my three children are in school, I would love to assist you with dog walking, cat and dog boarding, and daily check-ins for any of your furry family members.

About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world of caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. From bottle feeding babies, to senior pet care, to exotic animal husbandry, we have seen it all. Being pet parents ourselves, we have had several dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, & fish. Our American bulldog, Jack, our King Charles Cavalier, Castle, our Chow Chow mix, CBJ, and our Labrador/Husky mix, Crichton, have all left muddy paw prints on our hearts long after they've all gone. We currently have 6 cats, 3 of which are siblings we adopted a year ago and are loving all the chaos that they bring to our days. We can't forget our 2 ferrets, Mongo and Princess Donut- 2 of the sweetest little trouble makers we've ever had. From providing dog walks, play times, medicating, cleaning, cuddles, & kisses, we want to continue your dedication to helping your family pets live happier, healthier lives. Brian has worked as a manager in the pet retail industry for over 30 years, in a variety of settings. He has had cats and dogs his entire life, as well as keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums and building large vivariums for tree frogs. He has experience volunteering in wildlife rehab as well as handling reptiles and raptors at Zoo America in Hershey. He worked as a licensed pet sitter for many years in his twenties. Tanya has worked at several zoos and small animal veterinarian clinics. She started out as a veterinary technician, which she loved doing for 11 years. She then transitioned to being a veterinary receptionist in 2017, moving her focus from purely pet care to client care as well. Attending a variety of pet care continuing education every year and owning several pets needing daily, weekly, and monthly medications, Tanya has a wide skill range allowing her to help you keep your pet feeling their best. We both work full time, but with differing hours, allowing for availability morning, noon, & night. Brian is an early riser, so early morning walks or medication administration would be easy to accommodate. We are more than happy to follow whatever instructions you might have when visiting & caring for your pets in your home. We are open to having some exotics, or very low key dogs, in our own home for boarding. We do have six cats that run our house, so whoever is staying with us would need to get along with them.

“Jack is awesome at caring for our large breed dog, Titus. We adopted a puppy in June and were nervous about leaving him home all day once school hours returned in August. Having the peace of mind from Jack’s updates and photos from daily walks put us at ease. Jack is a natural with dogs, and he knew what questions to ask right away. It did not matter that Titus was 50 pounds at only 4 months old. Jack did great with Titus on leash walks and backyard play. Titus loves every visit. The communication has been stellar. About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I got my first dog at 16. My dog is a mastiff mix, who was unfortunately a covid puppy, leaving her with little socialisation, causing her to be reactive around other animals. We have both been learning from each other everyday and I have been working with and training her since she was a puppy. Throughout the years she has gotten much more confident in herself; even having dog friends now and a younger puppy sister. I have also worked with senior dogs, adminstering medication as needed and helping assist with activities. I have worked with other animals as well, of all different sizes, so I am confident in my ability to read body language and take care of the dogs as needed I am a full-time college student, who is working part-time, and with a chaotic schedule, finding a job for a business is difficult due to my availibilty. I have several animals of my own, making spending time and taking care of them the highlight of my day. I love and treat animals just as the family they are, so when working with others animals, it feels like more of a reward than a job, which I feel is crucial when being a full-time college student and trying to make a living. All of my animals are family and are treated as such, so when taking care of others dogs, I treat them with the same mindset; providing care, love, fun and respect.

About: I grew up taking care of pets at home, and even the neighbors! That includes dogs, cats, lizards, frogs, chinchillas, fish, hamsters, all different types! I’m currently an online student so I have a very flexible schedule! I was recommended to rover through a friend and I thought it would be perfect for my schedule especially for people who need a last minute sitter/ walker! I love going on walks and will be happy to take your pet for a long walk if wanted! I also like to spend lots of play time with pets.

I’m very involved in his daily care, including feeding, walks, routines, giving lots of attention, and helping manage medical needs when needed. Because of this, I understand how important patience, consistency, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m also very comfortable with cats and have had plenty of experience raising kittens as well. I enjoy spending time with different personalities, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or need extra comfort and care. I’ll always treat pets like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a very open and flexible schedule! I do work part-time mostly once or twice a week on weekends, but outside of my work schedule I’m available most days and have plenty of time to give pets attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. Since I will be caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to help them feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible by sticking to their normal routine. I’m very attentive to instructions and will make sure your pet gets the care, attention, exercise, feeding, potty breaks, and affection they need while you’re away. I also have hands-on experience with crate training through my own dog, who is crate trained and comfortably sleeps in his crate when prompted. About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life! I’m a pre-veterinary medicine major at the University of Delaware so I’ve been studying animal behavior, nutrition, and welfare for a year now. I work as an ER veterinary assistant back home and a large animal hospital when I’m at school so I’ve gathered over 800 hours dogsitting, volunteering, shadowing vet clinics, and working. I’m passionate about taking care of your pet. :) I’m living at college which gives me a very decent amount of availability! As long as you book with me 1-2 weeks in advance, I’m available almost everyday. When caring for your pets in your home, I will follow any specials instructions or routines you give regarding feeding, exercise, and medications. I always make sure all pets feel loved, comfortable, and safe with me. I can also check the home for any issues, water the plants if needed, bring in mail/packages, and of course I will send pictures and updates!!

About: ever since I was younger, I’ve been infatuated with all kinds of animals. I even wanted to be a vet. I was the six-year-old that neighbors trusted to watch over their dogs while they stepped out for a second and I even taught them some tricks. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks well that’s a lie. I’ve done it myself. It just takes a little extra persistence. In my home life we have a dog and a bunny, and I’ve trained the dog to get along very well with the bunny. My dog also knows a handful of tricks where she can’t take a bow, shake hands and even spin in a circle. I am a freshly graduated high school student just looking to pay some of her debt from vet bills so I figured it might as well be something I enjoy while doing it. I do have a part-time job, but I am willing to free my calendar for you, and your pets needs! if you prefer me to be with you pets all day i need at least a two week notice so i can free up my time! I love all animals so I just plan to keep an eye on them, keep their brains teased and maybe even try to teach them a few tricks and do a few enrichment games like hide and seek where they have to use their nose or lick mats or even fetch it all just depends on the pet!
