About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. I've cared for all types of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chicks, quail, lizards, fish, etc.! I am an experienced dog handler/ animal lover at heart. I worked at/managed a doggie day care/boarding facility for 4 years, learning from a very experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. During my time there, I had opportunities to complete trainings to understand dog behaviors and body language. I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker/foster, working primarily with bully breeds. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life. From playing with salamanders as a kid, to growing up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes; I've also had bunnies, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds...the list goes on! I couldn't imagine a life without animals in it. My experience administering medication Yes. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.

About: I grew up with two dogs, Lucy and Tula, and I love them so very much! I had to help walk, feed, and play with them all of the time. They have very different personalities, so I am used to the high energy, crazy pups, as well as the more timid ones that may need to warm up to me for a little bit! Our family now has adopted a new little mixed puppy named Jack who is absolutely filled with energy and excitement all of the time. I am currently a college student, so I have classes mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is fairly flexible and I can walk your pups when I'm not in class! I can walk your dogs around your neighborhood or somewhere else in town, whatever works best. I'm looking forward to spending time with your furry friends, whether it is just playing with them or walking them!

About: I have taken care of many animals and give the best care I can while sharing pictures and updates to the owner. I can work with food motivated animals to do simple tricks. I am starting college shortly but I still will dedicate as much time as I can to taking care of animals. Breaks and days I don't have classes will be for anyone needing pet care! I have a car and can go to clients' houses and take care of their pets, as I have done often for friends and neighbors. I have a partially fenced yard for leashed play. I am in a house under construction but the top floor is finished and houses my two kittens. Calmer dogs would be better if coming into my house, otherwise I am able to care for any size or personality in the owners house.

I gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of small and large animals, while learning proper handling and restraints, health and behavior, as well as how to safely administer oral and injectable medications. Through my training, I became certified in animal first aid and CPR. I also have experience caring for puppies/kittens, senior animals and pets with special needs, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining consistent routines. I’m Dylan and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a ton of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up on a farm and have always had multiple pets at a time, so I learned responsibility and animal care at a young age. I currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats of my own, and I love spending time with them—whether it’s going on runs with my dogs or cuddling up with my cats. I’m calm, patient, and always make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with love and respect. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, some playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away! I’m currently working a full-time job Monday through Thursday, from 6am until anywhere between 3pm and 5pm, depending on the day. I have Saturdays and Sundays off, and occasionally Fridays. Sophie works 2pm to 10pm a few days a week, her schedule is different every week. Since our schedules are opposite and Sophie has a bit more free time, one of us is always available to spend a good amount of time with your pet. The first thing we do when taking care of our own pets, or others pets, is let them out to go to the bathroom. Next, we prioritize feeding and medicating (if necessary) and cleaning and refilling all water bowls. Once everything important is taken care of, we then spend quality time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, cuddling or going for a walk. Before we leave, we make sure we let them back outside for a good while to make sure they take care of all of their business.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life! I’m a pre-veterinary medicine major at the University of Delaware so I’ve been studying animal behavior, nutrition, and welfare for a year now. I work as an ER veterinary assistant back home and a large animal hospital when I’m at school so I’ve gathered over 800 hours dogsitting, volunteering, shadowing vet clinics, and working. I’m passionate about taking care of your pet. :) I’m living at college which gives me a very decent amount of availability! As long as you book with me 1-2 weeks in advance, I’m available almost everyday. When caring for your pets in your home, I will follow any specials instructions or routines you give regarding feeding, exercise, and medications. I always make sure all pets feel loved, comfortable, and safe with me. I can also check the home for any issues, water the plants if needed, bring in mail/packages, and of course I will send pictures and updates!!

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs, including my previous dog, an 80-pound Golden Retriever. She could be reactive toward other dogs while on leash, so I became very comfortable handling strong dogs, staying calm in challenging situations, and maintaining control even when she was pulling. In addition to caring for my previous dog, I have regularly looked after neighbors’ and friends’ dogs by walking, feeding, and ensuring they were well cared for while their owners were away. In my personal life I love going on long runs up to 6 miles so if you have a higher energy dog that would like to join me I would love to take them with me! I am currently a university student, and I have off of school until the spring semester begins in February. I am free most weekends, and weekdays Monday-Friday. I am comfortable your dog or dogs in any environment. I have taken care of dogs that used special harness’ or prong collars so I know how to work those if needed. I love to run and hike so I can also bring your dog along if they are extra energetic!

About: Absolutely love animals! My neighbors and friends relied on me to take care of their animals. I also have my own animal and definitely want more! I’m currently a student at UD but basically have a part time schedule (tuesdays and thursdays) so most of my days are very flexible for taking care of your animal! I have a spacious place and a cat to keep your animal socialized. He is very friendly and likes to play and cuddle up all the time.

About: I have done pet sitting for many years, I have worked with multiple different types of animals many times. I love animals, can handle stressful situations, and know how to make responsable decisions regarding your home and beloved animals. I also will communicate effectively and be timely in my care of your pet. I work a job that has a flexible schedule, I do not have any prior commitments on weekends and any pet sitting jobs I book will become top priority. About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I got my first dog at 16. My dog is a mastiff mix, who was unfortunately a covid puppy, leaving her with little socialisation, causing her to be reactive around other animals. We have both been learning from each other everyday and I have been working with and training her since she was a puppy. Throughout the years she has gotten much more confident in herself; even having dog friends now and a younger puppy sister. I have also worked with senior dogs, adminstering medication as needed and helping assist with activities. I have worked with other animals as well, of all different sizes, so I am confident in my ability to read body language and take care of the dogs as needed I am a full-time college student, who is working part-time, and with a chaotic schedule, finding a job for a business is difficult due to my availibilty. I have several animals of my own, making spending time and taking care of them the highlight of my day. I love and treat animals just as the family they are, so when working with others animals, it feels like more of a reward than a job, which I feel is crucial when being a full-time college student and trying to make a living. About: ever since I was younger, I’ve been infatuated with all kinds of animals. I even wanted to be a vet. I was the six-year-old that neighbors trusted to watch over their dogs while they stepped out for a second and I even taught them some tricks. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks well that’s a lie. I’ve done it myself. It just takes a little extra persistence. In my home life we have a dog and a bunny, and I’ve trained the dog to get along very well with the bunny. My dog also knows a handful of tricks where she can’t take a bow, shake hands and even spin in a circle. I am a freshly graduated high school student just looking to pay some of her debt from vet bills so I figured it might as well be something I enjoy while doing it. I do have a part-time job, but I am willing to free my calendar for you, and your pets needs! if you prefer me to be with you pets all day i need at least a two week notice so i can free up my time! I love all animals so I just plan to keep an eye on them, keep their brains teased and maybe even try to teach them a few tricks and do a few enrichment games like hide and seek where they have to use their nose or lick mats or even fetch it all just depends on the pet!
