About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, big and small! I’ve bathed, feed, played with, and let dogs outside! Cuddles are a must! I attend Western Kentucky University but am home for the summer. I currently work part time at Brusters Ice Cream! My schedule changes weekly however I don’t work everyday meaning there is plenty of time for stopping by throughout the day! I will update clients on schedule changes to fit their needs and make sure all pets are taken care of properly. Most shifts are at night so I can stop by for feedings and bathroom breaks before work and after! Care begins with attention. Following clients instructions as every dogs and cats needs are different. Proper safety, comfort, and routine is important! Whether backyards aren’t fenced in or animals are fed at a specific time clients instructions are always important to follow!

About: I haven’t taken care of dogs professionally but I have always had a deep love for dogs. I have owned an American Bully and English Bulldog on my own and have had multiple family dogs growing up. Having my own dogs, I have gone through the process of training two different types of temperaments and am looking forward to engaging/learning about more! I currently work from home as an accountant M-F. I have the flexibility to leave and return as needed. I could take my laptop if I needed to be around for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I have the ability to use my flexibility to be present. I have an open living room setup and an English bulldog of my own to keep them company as well. We go on multiple walks a day and I make sure to try and exert the energy of whatever dog I am with at the time (so they don’t have much time to miss their parents 😂). I have room to crate the dogs if needed and also a pet camera that helps with monitoring.

I’ve participated in shelter skip days at the SPCA, and I’m almost always drawn to the older dogs. That’s just where my heart is. I took early retirement from my day job just so I could provide pet services. It’s way less stressful and more rewarding. I can provide overnight care for a dog in my home as well as provide drip in visits and walks. I can do extended drop in visits for cats so they have a chance to get to know me.

About: I have always had pets growing up. From dogs, to cats, to fishes, and even hamsters, so I know how to handle their care as well as different situations that might arise. I’m very alert during walks and always have my full attention on the dog. I’m also very good at reading and understanding what they are trying to communicate and help them in whatever way they need. I’m currently a student at UD, though my class schedule is pretty flexible this semester. I have a car on campus, so I’m able to drive over during class breaks, and before/after classes. Although I can’t host any dog in my place, since I live on campus, at a client’s home I am the most respectful of the pet’s own space and belongings, like their bed, toys, blankets, etc. I’m aware that I’m entering their world and will allow them to take as much time as they need to get used to my presence. I always put their safety first and make sure they look and feel ok before going on any walks or leaving the house!

About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.
