About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. About: I worked at a dog/cat kennel for over 3 years. I was fortunate enough to work with all breeds, sizes, ages, and behavioral levels. I want to give your pet the best and most comfortable experience while you're away! I am a college student at UD studying ecology. My schedule is generally pretty open with the exception of morning classes (~9 am - 11 am). My availability varies, but I can be flexible! Feel free to message me to inquire! I understand that all pets have different needs and preferences. I am comfortable playing with your dog in their home, taking them on walks, or little field trips and hikes (for the more energetic pups) around Delaware if you'd like! I have a soft spot for senior cats and dogs, so I am also more than happy to take things slower and give them the extra TLC they might need.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10. I worked at a doggy daycare and an animal hospital for almost a year. I’m comfortable with all types of animals, including exotics, and can deal with all kinds of temperaments and medical needs. Currently I attend University of Delaware as a pre-veterinary medicine major. I am available 7 days and week and throughout the - I occasionally work at a dog boarding facility but shifts are usually no longer than 7 hours I am comfortable coming to other houses and doing overnight stays as well, which I have done before for clients. About: My home is always filled with love and laughter over our dogs. Rex is 16, a ShihZhu, Jack is 10 yr Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Peppa is 8 yr Chihuahua. “The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.
