About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and cats, and now having two rescue dogs of my own, I just can't imagine life without them. I haven't used Rover before, but I've spent years watching friends' dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I've raised puppies, cared for kittens, and even handled medications when needed, so I'm no stranger to what animals need to feel safe and loved. I come to your home so your babies can stay in their own space, in their own routine. Every animal is different and I take the time to get to know them. Big or small, they all get the same gentle, attentive care. I just genuinely love animals, and that's something you'll see the moment I meet your pet. I'm always happy to set up a meet-up before booking so we can connect, your pet can get comfortable with me, and we can make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone I recently graduated from Arcadia University with my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. While I study for my boards and prepare to move back home to Washington, I have time on my hands and want to spend it doing something I truly enjoy. Right now my days are completely open, which means your dog gets my full attention. No rushing off, no squeezing them in between a busy schedule. I'm there as long as they need me. As the mom of two very needy rescue dogs, I completely understand wanting your babies to have someone around as much as possible, and right now, I'm in a position to give exactly that! Since I will be in your home, my first priority is to respect whatever routine and rules you have in place for your pet. I am happy to provide as much or as little entertainment, snuggles, or space as your fur baby needs. When it comes to walks, I'm no stranger to dogs that pull on the leash or get reactive around other dogs. I've handled strong, reactive animals before and I feel confident and calm managing them.

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends’ dogs throughout the past few years. I provided whatever they needed whether that was feeding, walking, or playing. I’m currently working a part time restaurant job that never ends later than 10:30 pm. So I will have plenty of time to take care of pets overnight and during the day. I provide reliable, attentive care in my client’s homes by following routines, offering playtime and affection, administering medications as needed, and keeping owners updated regularly.

About: I’ve always been good with animals. My family has been raising dogs since I was a little kid and I really love all our pets. I work part time, usually in the afternoons/night. This would be something good for me to do during the day to keep working and staying busy. I have been walking my dogs and taking care of them since I was 9. I’ve always been responsible for cleaning up after them and keeping them safe. I’d do the same for any dog I’d walk or let out.

About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for senior dogs and pets that need a little extra patience, attention, or understanding. I’ve participated in shelter skip days at the SPCA, and I’m almost always drawn to the older dogs. That’s just where my heart is. I genuinely enjoy taking things at their pace, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also a huge cat person. Whether your cat is social and playful or more reserved and independent, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel relaxed while you’re away. I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets, and I try to be the kind of sitter I’d want for my own animals, responsive, dependable, calm, and genuinely caring. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, medication routines, companionship, or just giving your pet some extra love and attention, I’m happy to help. Pet care is the perfect fit for my current life schedule. I took early retirement from my day job just so I could provide pet services. It’s way less stressful and more rewarding. I can provide overnight care for a dog in my home as well as provide drip in visits and walks. I can do extended drip in visits for cats so they have a chance to get to know me.

About: I have 9+ years of experience with walking dogs, and years of experience in feeding, training, playing, and caring for both dogs and cats. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. It was a huge responsibility, but I looked forward to going to work each shift I had because to me it didn’t even feel like work, it felt like a reward getting to care and play with so many animals. Whenever I go anywhere whether it’s a walk around my college campus, a family or friends house, or the park, I am always immediately drawn to all the dogs I see and always ask if I can take a minute to pet each dog. A multitude of family and friends have consistently told me that it’s evident how much I love animals, and how well I get along with them. I am someone you can trust to make sure your pet gets the best possible care when you are gone. As a former cat owner and current dog owner myself, I know just how much love and care pets need on a day to day basis. Whenever I am away from my dog who is my bestfriend in the whole world, I definitely can feel anxious or stressed. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). I will always be available and reachable when I am with your pet to answer any questions, concerns, or even just send over some extra photos if you are really missing your furry companion! Additionally, your pets wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. I am hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10. I worked at a doggy daycare and an animal hospital for almost a year. I’m comfortable with all types of animals, including exotics, and can deal with all kinds of temperaments and medical needs. Currently I attend University of Delaware as a pre-veterinary medicine major. I am available 7 days and week and throughout the - I occasionally work at a dog boarding facility but shifts are usually no longer than 7 hours I am comfortable coming to other houses and doing overnight stays as well, which I have done before for clients. Unfortunately I cannot board at my house.

About: Although I’m young, I have been around dogs as long as I can remember. I’ve owned, fostered, and worked with shelters. I know all the ins and outs of dogs! I’m currently on summer break until late August and there is nothing else that would need my attention besides your pet at the current moment. I have a fenced in backyard, but it is on the smaller side. I have one male neutered dog who is very friendly with others and loves to play.

About: I have lots of experience taking care of dogs as I am my aunt and uncles go-to dog sitter! Dealt with large powerful golden retrievers as well as a smaller poodle breads. I am a full time student at the university of Delaware and am available to come throughout the day between my classes for walks, feeding, and play time! I will uphold respect and cleanliness of all spaces and ensure full pet safety and cleaning up any messes made by pets or during the visit!
