“My husband and I were looking for a pet sitter for the weekend when our usual person cancelled on us somewhat last minute. One of my friends told me to reach out to Claudia. I’m very specific about people that watch my pets because not only are they my babies but they’re a lot to handle (I have a senior cat who takes medication, two dogs, and a bearded dragon). Claudia was so amazing, she kept us updated while we were gone, and she’s just one of those people that you can tell genuinely enjoys the company of animals. She’s been our go-to ever since! About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We have excellent references from previous guests and do our best to make sure our every guest feels right at home. We follow all care guides given by our guests owners, including giving meds and treats as owner provides us. I or my husband are home with our guest dogs during stays. Our guests get lots of attention and care. We want to care for them as they are used to being cared for at home. We have a fenced yard. We back up to mikes of hiking trails for walks and runs always on leash. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.

She listened to our instructions on his allergies and food timing, and took him out for walks. We were super happy that he was happy! Definitely will book again when we are back in the area!”

About: I’ve raised a few dogs and hamsters in my life and currently have a 1.5 yo Cavalier King Charles spaniel. As a pet parent, I understand the anxiety pets and their parents have when they have to stay away from each other. I strive to eliminate their worries by providing toys, food, and playing with them in our fenced yard. My friendly dog, Pablo can also give your pet company and truly make them feel home. I’m currently working remotely so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your fur baby. Except Tuesday (when I’m volunteering at a hospital), I’m available all days to taking care. My wife and myself will be available evenings, and weekends to provide extra care and love your pet deserves. I make sure the pet is active and engaged by playing with them, taking them on short walks every 3-4 hours, and feeding them in a timely manner. If your pet prefers to be laid back, that’s cool too. I have plenty of toys and comfortable beds to offer along with a size-able backyard for running to their hearts content.

“I have booked with Alexandra multiple times now and each time has been a great experience! She always answers promptly and even let me schedule with a short notice in a situation where I needed a sitter. Bubba always comes back happy and seeming like he had a ton of fun!”

“Pablo seemed to have a good time getting along with other pets in her care. Although he must have played rough or hurt himself when playing but came back with a bruise on his mouth. I was also told Pablo didn’t like eating his meal which is unusual since he didn’t have this issue anywhere else. Overall a good experience! Zay was responsive and helped accommodating him on short notice.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Currently have 1 medium size female Lab named Sophie and two indoor male cats named Herbert and Harry both over 10 years old. Dog and Cat boarding will be a fulltime service. No other current obligations. All emergency and pet care needs would be available 24/7. Currently my husband works full time and will be available part time and I will be available for full time pet care. Our home has a large closed in breezeway that opens up to a fenced in 1/4 acre backyard. We have two indoor male cats and a 6 year old female lab named Sophie to be a friendly companion during your pet's stay with us. Our home is located within 2 miles of Delaware's White Clay Creek State Park and Maryland's Fair Hill Natural Resource center if pet owners approve of hiking adventures.
