About: I grew up with two dogs, Lucy and Tula, and I love them so very much! I had to help walk, feed, and play with them all of the time. They have very different personalities, so I am used to the high energy, crazy pups, as well as the more timid ones that may need to warm up to me for a little bit! Our family now has adopted a new little mixed puppy named Jack who is absolutely filled with energy and excitement all of the time. I am currently a college student, so I have classes mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is fairly flexible and I can walk your pups when I'm not in class! I can walk your dogs around your neighborhood or somewhere else in town, whatever works best. I'm looking forward to spending time with your furry friends, whether it is just playing with them or walking them!

About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. I've cared for all types of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chicks, quail, lizards, fish, etc.! I am an experienced dog handler/ animal lover at heart. I worked at/managed a doggie day care/boarding facility for 4 years, learning from a very experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. During my time there, I had opportunities to complete trainings to understand dog behaviors and body language. I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker/foster, working primarily with bully breeds. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life. From playing with salamanders as a kid, to growing up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes; I've also had bunnies, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds...the list goes on! I couldn't imagine a life without animals in it. My experience administering medication Yes. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.

About: I have taken care of many animals and give the best care I can while sharing pictures and updates to the owner. I can work with food motivated animals to do simple tricks. I am starting college shortly but I still will dedicate as much time as I can to taking care of animals. Breaks and days I don't have classes will be for anyone needing pet care! I have a car and can go to clients' houses and take care of their pets, as I have done often for friends and neighbors. I have a partially fenced yard for leashed play. I am in a house under construction but the top floor is finished and houses my two kittens. Calmer dogs would be better if coming into my house, otherwise I am able to care for any size or personality in the owners house.

About: Absolutely love animals! My neighbors and friends relied on me to take care of their animals. I also have my own animal and definitely want more! I’m currently a student at UD but basically have a part time schedule (tuesdays and thursdays) so most of my days are very flexible for taking care of your animal! I have a spacious place and a cat to keep your animal socialized. He is very friendly and likes to play and cuddle up all the time.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of pets since I was a kid, but dogs and cats are what I am most used to. I have experience walking dogs, dog sitting in others homes(overnight too), and some experience caring for cats(cousins and friends). I have 3 golden retrievers at home in NY ranging from ages 1-8 and I care about them SO much, so I always want to ensure their safety. I feed them, walk them, and have endless playtime with them. My goal is to always ensure your pets safety, just as I would for mine:) I’m currently a nursing student at the University of Delaware and I’m on the club soccer team at UD! Don’t worry, I still have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have SO much time between my classes during the week, time on weekends, and after my clinicals on Thursday and Friday’s! I am here to help! I live in a town house at Delaware in which I am able to bring your pet to! There is a fenced in tennis court and park a quick 2 minute walk away that I would take the doggy day out dogs to! I have taken care of pets in the homes of family, friends, and clients. I ensure to go into the house with a calm manor and let the pet get used to me before I walk them, play, or feed them. I have three golden retrievers myself that I care for and always want to ensure their safety. I will always make sure to ensure your pets safety too!

About: I've always grown up surrounded by dogs, whether that was in my own household or around family. On my way to become a veterinarian, I continuously care for my own dogs, my neighbors dogs and spend my time volunteering at an animal shelter nearby, Father Johns, and ensure the health and safety of all ages of dogs. About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. From bottle feeding babies, to senior pet care to exotic animal husbandry, we have seen it all. Being pet parents ourselves, we have had several dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, & fish. Our American Bull dog mix, Jack, our King Charles Cavalier, Castle, our Chow Chow mix, CBJ, and our Labrador/Husky mix, Crichton, have all left muddy paw prints on our hearts long after they've all gone. We currently have 6 cats, 3 of which are siblings we adopted a year ago and are loving all the chaos that they bring to our days. We can't forget our 2 ferrets, Mongo and Princess Donut- 2 of the sweetest little trouble makers we've ever had. Brian has worked as a manager in the pet retail industry for over 30 years, in a variety of settings. He has had cats and dogs his entire life, as well as keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums and building large vivariums for tree frogs. He has experience volunteering in wildlife rehab as well as handling reptiles and raptors at Zoo America in Hershey. He worked as a licensed pet sitter for many years in his twenties. Tanya has worked at several zoos and small animal veterinarian clinics. She started out as a veterinary technician, which she loved doing for 11 years. She then transitioned to being a veterinary receptionist in 2017, moving her focus from purely pet care to client care as well. Attending a variety of pet care continuing education every year and owning several pets needing daily, weekly, and monthly medications, Tanya has a wide skill range allowing her to help you keep your pet feeling their best. We both work full time, but with differing hours, allowing for availability morning, noon, & night. Brian is an early riser, so early morning walks or medication administration would be easy to accommodate. We are more than happy to follow whatever instructions you might have when visiting & caring for your pets in your home. We are open to having some exotics, or very low key dogs, in our own home for boarding. We do have six cats that run our house, so whoever is staying with us would need to get along with them.

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! I attended a vocational trade school where I studied Animal Science for three years. I gained hands-on experience caring for a variety of small and large animals, while learning proper handling and restraints, health and behavior, as well as how to safely administer oral and injectable medications. Through my training, I became certified in animal first aid and CPR. I also have experience caring for puppies/kittens, senior animals and pets with special needs, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining consistent routines. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and also worked at a kennel in high school, so I have spent years caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m Dylan and I’m a lifelong animal lover with a ton of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up on a farm and have always had multiple pets at a time, so I learned responsibility and animal care at a young age. I currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats of my own, and I love spending time with them—whether it’s going on runs with my dogs or cuddling up with my cats. I’m calm, patient, and always make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with love and respect. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, some playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away! I’m currently working a full-time job Monday through Thursday, from 6am until anywhere between 3pm and 5pm, depending on the day. I have Saturdays and Sundays off, and occasionally Fridays. Sophie works 2pm to 10pm a few days a week, her schedule is different every week. Since our schedules are opposite and Sophie has a bit more free time, one of us is always available to spend a good amount of time with your pet. The first thing we do when taking care of our own pets, or others pets, is let them out to go to the bathroom. Next, we prioritize feeding and medicating (if necessary) and cleaning and refilling all water bowls. Once everything important is taken care of, we then spend quality time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, cuddling or going for a walk. Before we leave, we make sure we let them back outside for a good while to make sure they take care of all of their business.

About: Currently in training with my own dog for her to become a certified therapy dog. I will care for your dog like a family member I am flexible Monday through Friday though mid morning to late afternoon will work best to give your dog the attention it deserves for proper exercise, play time and providing good company for your pup. In our home, we have always treated our dogs like the family they are, providing a safe, calm and healthy environment with lots of love. I will provide this same level of care & love with the dogs I visit as we get to know each other.

I’m a self employed makeup artist so my schedule is pretty open during the week mostly! I work from home and we are very flexible I have a big fenced yard. Only one male neutered dog who gets along with most dogs. I love to play and pet the dogs often and then love to sit with me and watch favorite movie!
