This was our first time leaving our new dog (who has separation anxiety) with a pet sitter, so we were nervous, but Jen helped make us feel so at ease! She was very communicative, giving us multiple updates and photos every day and responding quickly to messages from us. She really listened to us and our dog’s needs, for instance, giving him more space at first since he can be shy with strangers. Overall, she went above and beyond for him—giving him treats to help him adjust and get used to her, taking him to play fetch at the tennis court, letting him play with a toy stash of hers, cuddling him in her bed, providing a giant fluffy beanbag chair for him to sit in, etc. My dog loved it so much that I think he was a little sad to leave! We will definitely use this sitter again!”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. About: When cats view me as the facilities manager, they will find their litter box clean and tidy on the inside as well as the outside. When they see me as the chef I will prepare their favorite foods that will entice them to come out of hiding. If they want to hide, that’s okay. I’ll just let them smell me until they warm up and eventually come around. Cats rule. And I love them for that.

About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. There has not been a time I have not had a dog. I help out in a dog kennel sometimes bathing and playing with the dogs. I do not have a job right now so I am home most of the time. I do leave the house in the morning and afternoon to care for my horses. I have a big back yard that is fenced in. The dogs that come to stay here are treated with as much love as I would give my own dogs.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10. I worked at a doggy daycare and an animal hospital for almost a year. I’m comfortable with all types of animals, including exotics, and can deal with all kinds of temperaments and medical needs. “My puppy stayed with Sharon for 3 days and I’m so lucky to have found her. I live 40 minutes away but she’s worth it. Her dog, Belle, is such a sweetie. The place is clean and the backyard as well. My dog is a little bit mischievous but Sharon handled him very well and he was very happy there. I highly recommend Sharon for everyone who wants to board their dogs, she loves dogs and will go extra miles to take of your dog. You will have no worries leaving your dogs with her.”

“Jen and her husband were incredible! We could tell they loved on our dog so much like he was their own dog. This was our first time leaving our new dog (who has separation anxiety) with a pet sitter, so we were nervous, but Jen helped make us feel so at ease! She was very communicative, giving us multiple updates and photos every day and responding quickly to messages from us. She really listened to us and our dog’s needs, for instance, giving him more space at first since he can be shy with strangers. Overall, she went above and beyond for him—giving him treats to help him adjust and get used to her, taking him to play fetch at the tennis court, letting him play with a toy stash of hers, cuddling him in her bed, providing a giant fluffy beanbag chair for him to sit in, etc. My dog loved it so much that I think he was a little sad to leave! We will definitely use this sitter again!”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
