About: I have professional experience working with dogs in structured daycare settings, including as a Canine Coach at Dogtopia. I managed playrooms of up to 35–40 dogs at a time and worked with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I’m comfortable reading dog body language, supporting safe group play, and staying calm and confident with both high-energy and anxious dogs. I also worked with Southlake Crittercare as a dog driver and handler, safely transporting dogs to and from daycare and assisting with playgroups organized by energy level and play style. In both roles, I cared for boarding dogs and handled daily routines such as feeding and administering medications. Paying close attention to individual needs and keeping dogs comfortable and secure was always a priority. Outside of my professional roles, I’ve provided in-home and overnight pet sitting for friends and family over the years. About: Hello! Please just call me Xami (ch-ah-mee) I've always had a passion for animals. I only started taking care of larger animals such as dogs and cats when I was 9. Before then, I took care of a verity of insects, rodents, and birds. These weren't easy tasks for someone so young and yet I managed to commit into taking care of these precious creatures. I was the first person friends and neighbors asked to take care of their beloved bestfriends. When I turned 14, my parents brought home a kitten and I catered my routine to her. The same year, I managed to gain the trust of a stray after months of steady work and he became an indoor cat after we got his vaccines. I made sure our ex-stray got as much enrichment as the outside provided him. I have experience in training as later down we were given an accidental GSD puppy. I spent months properly training our puppy and even made it through puppy blues! I'm currently working part time from 6am - 12 pm. There may be some Thursdays where I am needed to work in the afternoon. My college classes are all online and won't interfere unless it's an exam. I care for others pets the way I care for my own - I make sure each of my pets have a proper schedule and diet catered to their needs. - Safety in areas of the house that is needed to be inaccessible - Providing a relaxing environment - Lots of love given
