We had a wonderful experience. Lucho was very well taken care of, and we received updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. He can be shy at first, and the patience and kindness he received made a big difference. We will definitely book again and highly recommend!

Oluwatoyin took amazing care of my boys Rocky and Rhody. She was super reliable, kept me updated with photos, and it was clear the dogs felt safe and happy with her. Both came home calm, tired, and well-fed. Exactly what you want after boarding. If you need someone trustworthy and genuinely caring for your pups, I highly recommend Oluwatoyin. We will definitely book her again!

Since this was our first time with a dog sitter, I was nervous how my fur baby will be without us around. Yvonne was able to send updates and pics of Kazu. He had so much fun he didn’t want to get in the car to go home. Thank you so much Yvonne for the excellent care of Kazu and making our first experience with Rover memorable!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have cared for four dogs over the past 20 years—one was with us for an amazing 17 years! We currently have a friendly 6-year-old Labradoodle who loves kids and other dogs. I work from home and homeschool our children (12 and 4), so I have the flexibility to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and fun throughout the day. I work from home and home school which gives me flexibility. I am only away for short periods of time for errands, as well as school pickup two days a week. We have a fenced yard and a friendly dog who does great with other dogs and people. My children have grown up around pets and know how to treat animals with care and respect.

Becky is the Best I highly recommend. My Hank knows exactly who I am talking about when I say her name and his friends. He is waiting at door to go soon as I ask if he wants to see ecky. When I come to get him before I knock he knows it's me and is alking at the door. Great sitter.

About: Hi, Welcome to my profile! Caring for animals has always been one of the greatest joys in my life since I was younger. Whether it’s energetic dogs or sweet senior pets needing a little extra TLC. I bring patience, love, and genuine connection to every visit. I have experience with basic puppy training, medication administration, and supporting older pets with mobility or health needs. I truly believe pets are family, and I do everything I can to make them feel safe, seen, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priorities—I’m here to be their second favorite human while you’re gone! I currently work from home and have a lot of time to take care of dogs for owners who need to go out of town or are in need for pet care. I have a safe home to provide care for pets in my home. I also can create a quick connection with pets in their own home.

About: Tiny dogs have my heart ❤️ Small in size but full of personality, love, and sass! Because little pups have unique needs, I specialize in caring for small dogs only in a safe, clean, and loving home environment. Your furry friend will enjoy supervised potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of love and attention—just like family. I also provide regular photo updates, so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Because your little dog deserves big love. My husband works from home.. I’m a stay at home mom and I also have a furry friend of my own. Your pet will be in a comfortable setting while I teach my son and do my chores around the house. I have a secured, fenced yard. Your pet will be in company and enjoy play time with my 3 year old malschi. And be able to run around in the backyard if weather allows it.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Caring for both brings me lots of joy. My work schedule allows me the time to take care of your pet on the weekends and be fully attentive to their needs during the week. It fits extremely well. Your dog may have to go a max 5 hrs without the a potty break while I’m at work but never more than that. Otherwise they’ll get plenty of attention and care. I go completely off your pets needs and how you’d like for them to be taken care of. Every dog is different but I will feed as necessary and walk at least 2-3 times a day, again depending on the pets needs. We do have 2 dogs at home. 1 is a small dog and the other is a medium. They’ve gotten along well with other Rover dogs and have never been an issue. They just want to sleep and play.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Elizabethtown commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,555 sitters in Elizabethtown, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
