“Many thanks to Bridgette and her family for caring for my Brownee during her first daycare stay with them today. I received a number of pictures and videos showing how much attention my pup was getting from everyone and how much fun she was having. Prior to the daycare stay, Bridgette allowed a meet and greet, which I appreciate as it is important to me. She’s also great at communicating and her family is super welcoming. Each interaction has given me confidence Brownee is in good hands. Brownee and I look forward to the next visit!”

About: Animals are my entire world. Your kiddos will be in good hands in our home. I have a background in ER vet medicine and ran my own mobile pet nail trimming business in AZ. We are looking to lend a hand to our neighbors pets and make them feel like they are at home 🤍 I currently work from home so I have plenty of time and love to give to your fur babies. They will have someone home with them 24/7 and can make themselves feel right at home. I have a large home and have plenty of space to roam. I have a German shepherd puppy who loves to play but also knows when it’s time to relax. I am open to any service you are needing and love to give daily picture updates
“We had a fantastic experience with Stacy and his wife. From the very first moment we arrived at their home, we felt confident that everything would be great, and it truly was. They kept us constantly updated with photos and even videos, which gave us great peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout, and it was clear our pup was happy and well cared for. We will definitely repeat and highly recommend them.”

“Becky is the Best I highly recommend. My Hank knows exactly who I am talking about when I say her name and his friends. He is waiting at door to go soon as I ask if he wants to see ecky. When I come to get him before I knock he knows it's me and is alking at the door. Great sitter.”

“Since this was our first time with a dog sitter, I was nervous how my fur baby will be without us around. Yvonne was able to send updates and pics of Kazu. He had so much fun he didn’t want to get in the car to go home. Thank you so much Yvonne for the excellent care of Kazu and making our first experience with Rover memorable!”

I received regular updates, which put my mind at ease during her time away. I highly recommend Allison for anyone seeking a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. She is a true gem in the world of pet care!”

“I will be going to Gayle from now on. She is a wonderful caretaker. My dog is a senior with special needs and she went above and beyond to accommodate her. My dog Ginger had a great time!”

About: I have had dogs in the family my whole life and our cat is a treasure to our family. I’ve recently said goodbye to our sweet elderly dog and my heart yearns for more four-legged friends although I'm not ready to commit to adopting just yet! Caring for your pet will help mend some cracks in my heart! I have experience hosting friends’ dogs during their family trips and helping family and neighbors with their pets. My family has also included birds and fish! I have just exited education to go back to school so I have flexible availability for this work. I am currently at home going back to school while my children all attend school during the daytime. It has never been a better time for me to enjoy this type of work! I have a fenced yard with grass and a lovely neighborhood for walking! I have a two story home and dogs are welcome on main level (baby gate on stairs) Hard floors make for easy cleaning.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Caring for both brings me lots of joy. My work schedule allows me the time to take care of your pet on the weekends and be fully attentive to their needs during the week. It fits extremely well. Your dog may have to go a max 5 hrs without the a potty break while I’m at work but never more than that. Otherwise they’ll get plenty of attention and care. I go completely off your pets needs and how you’d like for them to be taken care of. Every dog is different but I will feed as necessary and walk at least 2-3 times a day, again depending on the pets needs. We do have 2 dogs at home. 1 is a small dog and the other is a medium. They’ve gotten along well with other Rover dogs and have never been an issue. They just want to sleep and play.
“We were so excited to meet Aimee and Remi! I think this is a wonderful family that I trust to care for our Winnie. We will be scheduling doggie daycare and boarding with them.”

About: Hi! I’m a very active individual and believe interactive play and runs are the best way to keep dogs active. I also love watching dogs learn and grow and as well as how loving they can be I work remote, and have a consistent schedule. So I use my routine to help build one for other animals as well. Morning runs. Several breaks during work and the some hardcore playtime when I’m off Walks and boarding other animals I will usually sleep in a separate room from my wife and either keep the pups in the crate or have them sleep next to me. Whatever they are accustomed to so they feel more at home. Home if child safe so very little to go wrong with any dog. When running or walking, I will carry and expandable plate and extra water for the pups,

Whether it’s energetic dogs or sweet senior pets needing a little extra TLC. I bring patience, love, and genuine connection to every visit. I truly believe pets are family, and I do everything I can to make them feel safe, seen, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priorities—I’m here to be their second favorite human while you’re gone! Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
