About: I have been around pets all my life. I grew up on a farm with several different animals. Our family favorite has always been dogs. Now, I share that enjoyment with my kids. They love being around dogs too! We enjoy walking our own dogs and playing with them. Your pet would have a loving environment with lots of attention with us! I am a stay at home mom. I was away on a birthday trip 7 days, and she took incredible care of my cat, Arrow, the entire time. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Caring for both brings me lots of joy. My work schedule allows me the time to take care of your pet on the weekends and be fully attentive to their needs during the week. It fits extremely well. Your dog may have to go a max 5 hrs without the a potty break while I’m at work but never more than that. Otherwise they’ll get plenty of attention and care. I go completely off your pets needs and how you’d like for them to be taken care of. Every dog is different but I will feed as necessary and walk at least 2-3 times a day, again depending on the pets needs. We do have 2 dogs at home. 1 is a small dog and the other is a medium. They’ve gotten along well with other Rover dogs and have never been an issue. They just want to sleep and play.

“If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.”
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little kid: starting at about 10 years old I pet set for my neighbors. I have watched, fed, and walked dogs of varying sizes and ages and have also fed and managed some cats. In my college town I have helped the Humane Society on occasion by taking a dog at a time to walk them and let them roam around and enjoy time outside the kennel. I have a fenced in yard and a small dog who is super friendly and well loved. He is a grazer so doesn’t have designated food times but my previous dogs were fed twice a day. He gets morning walks every morning and sometimes extra ones in the evening.
About: I have taken care of pets my whole life! From jumping spiders to 150 pound dogs. I am studying in college right now to become a veterinarian. I have always wanted to work and care for animals, I also volunteer at many shelters nearby and used to foster! So if you need anyone to walk, feed, pet, or even just to drop in and check on your pets I can do that! I am currently working at a restaurant part time so I have plenty of time on my days off to play with your pets! I have three dogs of my own and one cat so I know that pet care is a daily need. In your home I can follow any instructions you need from times your pet needs to be woken up, fed, play, walks, given medicine, and even time set aside for training! For both cats and dogs I have trained both of my pets! Or if your pet is create trained, I can make sure all of your house rules stay that for your pet!

“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. “I left a review when I began using Gina as our dog's sitter. Since then, she has watched Luca multiple times when we've gone out of town. I expect Luca considers her house his second home! Gina and her family truly do treat Luca like one of their own. He goes on walks, gets treats, plays with her dogs, and is provided a safe place when it thunders and storms.
