I CANNOT say enough good things about both Rick and his fiancé Annemarie! They were God-sent ANGELS for our wedding weekend! We were out of town - all of us were - and really needed someone who could keep Millie for us. Even though they stayed a half hour away, they were above-and-beyond accommodating, staying flexible with our schedule as things changed on our end. They came and picked her up from us, brought her back for rehearsal the same day so my nephew could practice walking her down the aisle, took her back home. They sent me pictures of her and their dog Buckley all throughout the weekend and she looked like she was having fun, getting good sleep and was comfortable. When Annemarie brought Millie to my wedding, she came dressed up to blend in with the other guests and I never heard Millie bark the whole time. She stayed around in the hot heat for pictures so Millie could be in a few pictures with us before taking her back to their home. Finally, they kept her through an extra day for us so we could have a little breather time before we had to pack everything up at our hotel room and head back home. We could not have made it through our wedding weekend without Annemarie and Rick's help. All of their story-sharing about what Millie was up to with Buckley all weekend was so nice to see intermittently as we were busy buzzing about doing our wedding activities. We are so GRATEFUL for everything they did and it's clear Millie was well taken care of and comfortable because she was so calm and relaxed when Rick returned her to us! Truly extra sweet! Thanks again for everything!

Nicole was very friendly and accommodating to Axel for the night of boarding. She was even able to pick him up and drop him back off. He got along with all of her other friendly pets and felt very comfortable during his stay. I would recommend Nicole to anybody else who needs an accommodating place for their fur babies ?

Renee did a great job taking care of our two dogs while we were away. She sent regular updates and pictures of them playing and having fun. I think one of our dogs is actually disappointed that we came back because he was having so much fun playing with the other dogs at Renee's house.

I have two little kids, so any pets would need to be ok with kids. I have a nice big yard, and one medium sized dog. He is always happy to make new friends. He is fully vaccinated. I had plenty of opportunities to interview sitters on Rover about taking care of my dog Donner for the time I spent (over a month) in Sheperdsville, KY. Chelsea and Chris stood out among the rest. When I picked up Donner on weekends, she always had a smile on her face. Moreover, the pets in the household (Winston and Nova) were friendly and loved to play. They are great people with a home and backyard fence well designed for taking care of canine visitors.

About: Hi I'm November! I am a dog groomer based in Hodgenville KY. I have always loved taking care of, and hanging out with, all the fur-babies I can! I am well-equipped to groom your pup while they are in my care, I can give or apply medicine at any interval as needed, go on plenty of walks, and entertain them with enriching activities set aside for each pet. I am a dog groomer based in my very own home! I am home all day and night long! I have a wonderful little puppy (German Shepherd mix) Sadie and she would be more than happy to help any home sick babies feel more than welcomed. All of my grooming clients are required to have their vaccinations and are the best play mates in between grooming! I have a fenced in yard and of course like mentioned Mrs Sadie here to help the homesick pups feel better. I also have 3 cats that are happy to meet other feline friends!

About: We just moved to Bardstown and have 2 quiet acres for your pet to enjoy. Our home is comfortable- not chaotic! We have cats currently & love to snuggle up. Everyone is taken care of. Your pets are welcome on couches & beds just like family. Feeding times are regular. I have a history of house/pet sitting in Dallas, TX & Lewisburg, TN. I've worked with a local groomer bathing dogs and have owned cats or dogs most of my life. My partner & I have fostered dogs with the local animal shelter. A good relationship with an animal is built on their trust of you to take care of their needs & offer protection. We will take great care of your pet! We have a partially fenced, secluded yard & a membership at Bernheim where we can take pups to walk. No dog to little or small. We have lots of experience introducing and managing different dogs from different families in one stay so everyone feels comfortable and gets along. Happy to honor special requests and answer any questions a pet owner might have. We have the ability to take care of pets just like any pet owner would. We work opposite shifts so someone is generally at home or not gone for too long. We work in town and have flexibility. We treat all pets like our own. They have access to furniture and pet beds and can snuggle up anytime they want to. Our casa is their casa.

Angela watched our cat. It was the first time we used a sitter and I was a little apprehensive about the experience as Missy is an older cat and is not used to 'strangers'. Angela kept us well informed on Missy's behavior and routine at her house and sent pictures regularly. We felt reassured and were confident that she was well taken care of. We will definitely ask Angela to keep Missy, if the need arises again.

About: I’ve been around and caring for animals for over 20 years, and pets have always been a big part of my life. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and giving lots of attention and love. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away! Pet care fits naturally into our routine because we both love having animals around. I do work 12-hour shifts, but my partner, Chelsey, works nights, so our schedules overlap in a way that allows someone to be home and available for pets much of the time. We’re both very comfortable caring for animals and making sure they get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, food, fresh water, and lots of love. We’re happy to follow each pet’s normal routine and treat them like part of our family while they’re with us. For boarding and daycare, pets are welcomed into our home and treated like part of the family. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, meals according to their normal schedule, and lots of love and cuddles. I have a fenced yard where pets can safely get some outdoor time, and I’m happy to follow any routines or special instructions your pet is used to. For dog walking, I’ll make sure your pup gets a safe, enjoyable walk suited to their age, energy level, and needs. I’ll also give them plenty of attention and make sure they have fresh water and are comfortable when we’re finished. My goal with every service is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and cared for while they’re with me.

Dawn did an amazing job taking care of my fur baby. We were gone for a week and she made sure to update me on how my baby was doing through texts and photos. She even cuddled her and bought treats when she wasn’t eating the ones I brought. She and her husband were amazing caregivers for my sweet fur baby. I never worried once about whether my baby was safe.

Taylor and her husband were very pleasant and friendly. They took care of my buddy Jaxson over 4th of July weekend I received lots of pictures and updates about what Jaxson was up to while we were away! My dog is scared of fireworks so they even took special care and let him stay with them in there room at night to make sure he wasn’t scared!

There are 168 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Elizabethtown. About 92% of Elizabethtown sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
