“There are not enough words to praise Jamie for all of her efforts and hard work! She took my cat to the vet , as an emergency visit to get him to feel better. She went above and beyond her duties every day for my fur babies & there’s no one (including family) that I would ever trust to do such an exceptional job. I will book her for any future out of town dates because she is truly the best.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, so I love to help take care of them and love on them! I’ve also looked after plenty of animals for family and friends when they’re out of town, with one family friend having me come back to dog sit for them for the last three years! Right now, I’m home from college for the summer, and don’t have a job, so my schedule is pretty free unless I have an appointment or other things going on on a certain day! I don’t offer boarding for pets in my own home unfortunately, but for my clients, I will make sure all their needs are met and more, playing with them and making sure they’re doing great before I leave for the day.
“Sabine is very dependable and my dogs loved her. My dogs can be barky and jumpy and she handled them with ease and understanding. On a visit to let out my dogs, it was raining and Sabine went out (with no overhead coverage) and coaxed my dogs to go out. I was very grateful she went through that effort since I wasn’t able to return for hours later and felt great knowing if they had to go they would. After she left, I think they waited by the front door hoping she’d come back. Greatly appreciate her!”

“Alison was absolutely great with our 2 cats! They are both very high maintenance in their own way and she didn’t hesitate to take on the challenges. We are very appreciative of the stellar job she did looking after them while we were gone. Highly recommend.”

“Gracias ??Rhiannon por cuidar a mi gato Silver. Nos sentimos tranquilos durante los días que estuvimos fuera de la casa; porque lo dejamos en su ambiente y no tuvimos que llevarlo a cuidar fuera de su entorno al que está acostumbrado. “Jamie is the best 5-star pet sitter you can find. She went above and beyond our expectations, became best buds with our cats and cared for them like our own. We even decided to stay an extra night and with no reception we were unable to text she realized this, came by to check if we made it back realized we hadn't and fed the cats an extra day, what a truly caring gesture. Jamie is highly professional and very caring. We highly recommend Jamie and know that even without service for six days plus an extra our pets and home were safe in her hands and being cared for. Thank you Jamie!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Elizabethtown. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
