About: I have been caring for animals for 15 years of my life. From dogs to cats or rabbits and fish. I have had a range of experience between differing species. I grew up caring for 2 Chihuahuas, 1 Siberian Husky, 1 Bull Mastiff and 8 cats. Whether it's playtime, long walks or evening cuddles I make sure each pet feels at home with me. I have 3 days off during the week when my 10 year old is at school. The other week days I work in the early morning and am available for the rest of the day. Weekends I am available in the morning. So I have a bit of free time to care for your loved ones. In your home I will feed your pets according to their schedule. Refresh water and food bowls. Let dogs out for bathrooms breaks either on a walk or in backyard per your instructions. Provide stimulation for your animals with playtime and walks around the neighborhood.

About: I have been taking care of my two dogs since I was 15 years old, a small Yorkshire poodle and a medium-sized schnauzer mix. Neighbors in my hometown of Los Angeles have also relied on me to care for their dogs and cats when they are away for holiday vacations. My experience includes taking care of a 16-year-old dog named Pasha for several days, as well as caring for multiple cats in different households. This included looking after a pair of cats in one home and administering anxiety medication to another cat over a five-day period. I am a student at UC Davis and have a flexible schedule between classes and extracurricular activities, which allows me to spend plenty of time caring for pets. I am available throughout the day for walks, feeding, and check-ins, and I am also happy to help after classes, including longer visits or overnight stays if needed. I always ask clients for a list of responsibilities, so I know exactly what their pets need. I make sure to follow feeding schedules, spend time playing with and giving attention to the pets, and provide any care they require. I’m also happy to help keep the home tidy, like sweeping up leftover kitty litter, to make things easier for the owners.

About: I’m a UC Davis Animal Science student on the pre-veterinary track with experience working as a veterinary assistant at multiple pet hospitals. I’m confident in handling dogs and cats if all sixes, breeds and temperaments. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Aside from classes I also work a part time job, and able to plan my schedule around walks, drop ins, feeding. I prioritize safety, trust, and a clam environment in both my home and my clients home. With my background as a veterinary assistant, I follow safe handling practices, and ensure the pet feels cared for and comfortable.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs at all stages of their lives! From birth to old age, I have bottle-fed and waned puppies, kitten sat, as well as administered insulin shots and oral medications to older cats and dogs. One of my kitties now also takes an oral pill twice daily, so I also have some experience giving cats pills :). I am a full-time student who just moved to Davis! I have a flexible schedule, meaning maintaining strict feeding or medication times should be no problem! I make sure all water sources are clean and replaced regularly, food bowls and cans are rinsed/washed immediately to avoid lingering smells, and do a quick walk-through of the pets' spaces to make sure your fur baby(s) didn't get into things they weren't supposed to. I also love plants, so in my own home, i keep them watered and check regularly for if there are new chomps in them and would be very happy to do the same for you if that is at all a concern :). And, of course, I offer plenty of play time with the kitties!

About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors and friends consistently for the last seven years ranging from feeding and taking them out once a day to staying at their house for multiple weeks caring for large and small dogs. I volunteered at a humane society for three years where I worked mostly with walking, entertaining, and caring for dogs. Because of this I have a lot of experience with dogs of different temperaments and have learned how to get dogs out of sketchy situations with other dogs in public. I am currently working part time from 10am - 2pm on Tue/Thur and have class most evenings. Anytime outside of these times can work with my schedule! I am comfortable walking large dogs in public, keeping an eye on them in a pool or enclosed yard, as well as crating them if required. I have a standard sedan and am comfortable taking dogs to parks for walks as well. If I were to transport dogs I would be willing to take whatever measures to assure the dogs safety in the car, which would be up to the owner.

About: I have trained a raised guide dogs for the blind. I have had dogs my whole life and have raised a couple on my own. I dog and cat sit all the time for family and friends. I am a second year college student at UC Davis majoring in Animals Science and do not have a job so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am able to watch your pets to make sure they are safe and well taken care of in your home! I am able to crate your pet or put them on a leash etc

About: I grew up with dogs (a very sweet, energetic Australian shepherd mix, a crazy but loving Jack Russell terrier mix, and a super athletic labradoodle), so have loved and cared for high-energy dogs from a young age! I also have recent experience cat sitting my friends’ cat, which I really enjoyed :) I’m a registered nurse but haven’t found a job yet, so I’m looking to Rover for the interim! My days are very flexible when I’m in town. My husband and I just bought a home in Slide Hill Park, so we have a fenced-in backyard and a dog door that my dog can help your dog learn how to use :) A little about our dog: he’s a very sweet 9-month-old golden retriever/siberian husky mix named Oreo who we rehomed from another family who has to give him up because of landlord issues. He’s very friendly and loves to exercise and play with other dogs! He’s still intact for now— hoping to wait until he’s at least 1-year-old so he can finish growing. I love to run/walk him in Slide Hill Park, the Greenbelt, and the Arboretum, and I would love to take your pet along as well! I also really enjoy taking dogs to the dog park so they can socialize 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺🦮
