I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. After recently losing our German Shepherd, Ace, due to old age, we’ve been missing the joy of having more dogs around, and our lab, Indie, would love a playmate. About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. After Riker accepted all the pets, and a quick tangent discussion over Ironman helmets, the house was great, lots if space for doggos. Roy sent pics( @home and out on walks) and updates on how Riker was doing. Pickup and drop offs are easy. Neighborhood is great, pet friendly, convenient but secluded community. Roy made the experience seamless, which made really made it stress free for Riker(and Me). Great experience. Definitely highly recommended.”
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and worked with animals extensively when working on several different farms as well and woofing! I have cared for dogs cats and farm animals. I volunteered on a goat farm in Oregon where I cared for dogs, cats, chickens, alpacas, bunnies, and many other animals. I volunteered at 2 different turtle conservation organizations in Tulum and Mahahual, Mexico. About: Hello, I have always been an animal lover since visiting my Grandma's farm as a kid. My first job for that I held for 4 years in High School was at a Vet hospital, where I fed, cleaned, walked, cared for and groomed the boarding dogs and cats. As an adult, I have loved animal watching/walking for friends and family. As a volunteer, I fed and cleaned the farm animals at a non-profit ranch for autistic children. I work full time in the medical field and enjoy being active so I am excited to get outside for walks and visit your pets on my days off. I am no able to own pets where I live, so I would love to be able to care for yours. Thank You, Megan I am available multiple days a week to walk and drop-in care for pets. My work schedule changes each week but I am able to scheduled services a week in advance. I would care for a pet at a client's home. About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! I'm currently somewhat free, and I figured I'd add this to get some exercise in. I love spending time with animals, I really don't get to do it enough. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. After recently losing our German Shepherd, Ace, due to old age, we’ve been missing the joy of having more dogs around, and our lab, Indie, would love a playmate. For everyone’s safety and happiness, dogs must get along well with Indie, and we require a meet-and-greet before booking. I am a nurse in Davis and my wife works from home which allows for flexibility throughout the day. We stay pretty scheduled but have the availability to cater to our dogs needs! We have a fully fenced yard with a friendly lab. We love being outside and going for walks in west Davis. Since we used to have 2 dogs we are familiar with leash safety and navigating other dogs on walks.
