About: Hi there! I am 22 years old and I grew up with a black lab who had severe separation anxiety, so I understand firsthand how important patience, consistency, and compassion are when caring for pets with unique needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or needs extra comfort while you’re away, I’m committed to providing attentive, personalized care that helps them feel safe and loved. I wrap up work around 1/2 pm so I have the entirety of my afternoons to care for my pet clients! I can work every day of the week! Weekends will need to be 2 days in advance for approval. I own no pets of my own which is why I love this job. It allows me to still live on sweet pets while their owners are gone. I mentioned in my bio that I grew up with a black lab who had severe separation anxiety so I understand that all animals may have differing needs and I am happy to accommodate those!

About: I have owned dogs and cats all my life including a Russian Blue cat, two yellow labs, a pit bull. I have always been involved in taking care of my pets to the best of my ability. I currently own a 185 lb English mastiff. I have availability almost all the time. I can’t stay at the house all day, as I generally leave to the gym at least once a day, but other than that I can stay at the house. I can usually stay at a house for 1-3 days. I always like to keep pets company as I believe that their happiness and well-being is always impacted by how I’m doing, so I always try to maintain a positive attitude around pets. I follow whatever directions the owner tells me to do.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes with many different needs. Ages ranging from one week to senior. Same goes for cats, I have experience with all ages of cats. I work from home for VSP as a training coordinator. I can bring my laptop anywhere and work from anywhere as long as there’s Wi-Fi. So anytime you would need me to come and check on your pet or if you would like me to stay at your house I could easily make that work with my job. Pets are family and should be treated as such! I currently have a cat and she gets anything she wants (within reason) she is spoiled, but not rotten. I would follow the instructions given on how you would prefer your pet to be taken care of, but I would truly enjoy spending time with all pets, making sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“We were gone the entire week of Christmas, and we could not be happier with the care Barbara provided for our cat. Riley is a very needy cat demanding constant back rubs and belly rubs. The pictures Barbara sent us showed that Riley was very satisfied with the care she received from Barbara. The pictures of Riley lying on her back waiting for her belly rub were precious. In addition, Riley's litter box, and the closet it is kept in, could not have been cleaner. I could go on and on about things Barbara did that we were happy with, but space is limited! “Lisa is amazing!! It was our first time using Rover as we just moved to the area and we were a little nervous leaving our cats with someone new. On top of that, right after we booked with her and confirmed everything, our kitten became extremely sick and needed daily injections to save her life. This doubly increased our anxiety as now we had to rely on someone else to keep our baby alive while we went home for the holidays. We had to change our booking schedule not only once but twice due to dosage changes and Lisa was so flexible and accommodating. She kept our worries at bay by sending great updates and pictures each day after her visit as well as perfectly administering our kitten’s injections (which were NOT fun, the medicine burns while it’s administered but Lisa handled it easily each day). We even ran out of cat food (facepalm) and Lisa was kind enough to run out to the store and pick us up some more without us asking her to. If you want a pet sitter to care about your babies, then Lisa is the perfect candidate! I can’t say enough positive things about her and our experience using her services.”

About: I have experienced care with cats and dogs of all ages, and I looked after farm chickens too, feeding, letting out for play time and cleaning out the coops. I am familiar with bottle feeding and weaning young kittens, and multiple medications given to senior animals on regular schedules as well. I have had cats continuously for 38 years, and had dogs off and on for about 28 years. I love animals, and consider them family members. You can rest assured knowing if I am caring for your fur babies they will be treated as if they are my own. I even send selfies and videos to humans on vacation if they would like, just so they can see their pets are being taken care of. I have not done injected medication to dogs before, but I may be able to learn if shown. I work full time in an office in Roseville M-F and I live in El Dorado Hills so I’m available for Roseville dog walks during weekday lunch hours or late afternoon/early evenings. If it’s an El Dorado Hills request I am open weekday evenings and open any time weekends. I currently have 2 cats, both boys 6 years old that are extremely affectionate. While they aren't lap cats unless I trick them by disguising my lap with a big blanket, they love being petted, brushed and played with. They both purr almost constantly and follow me from room to room.

“Yelena watched Tamu for 5 days. It was the first time that both myself and my boyfriend were out of town at the same time, so I was super nervous to have a pet sitter come over knowing that it would be a new person, and I hoped Tamu would like them. Before we left, I introduced Yelena to Tamu and I immediately could tell she was great with cats! So mindful of Tamu's space and careful to show she was friendly, but giving Tamu time to warm up to her. And I think it was a huge success! Throughout the 5 days me and my boyfriend were out of town, Yelena was great at communicating and also very flexible - we had a last minute change in travel plans and Yelena was happy to adjust accordingly. Yelena gave Tamu the affection and attention she needed while we were out of town. The pictures she sent me throughout that time showed how happy Tamu was to have her there! I felt so relieved to see that Tamu had a kind person with her who could keep her company and make sure she was doing well. The next time I need a pet sitter, I plan to ask for Yelena's services again. It was my first experience with Rover and it was a great one. Thank you so much, Yelena!”
