“Makenzie is amazing! She always includes tons of photos and is great at communicating around anything with the regular walks. My dog is very nervous around new people, and she immediately loved Makenzie. She has a great presence with dogs. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Our neighbor has been a client of Annalisa for a while and gave her the strongest of recommendations. We needed an emergency sitter, and she came through! Top nothc and great with our pup!”

“Reviewing Loren for the 10 days she cared for our 2 dogs and 1 cat. Loren reached out after we first contacted Rover with a challenging 10-day assignment (our regular pet care fell through last minute). She contacted another Rover walker to cover shifts that she couldn't. She stayed in contact with us and was available while we were gone. Loren excelled at taking care of our pets, and let us relax while away. She followed instructions, and took incentive to notify us about any concerns with our pets or alarm system Thanks, Loren! —Kelly and Ted”

About: Hi, I’m Linda—your friendly neighborhood pet pal from the Northmont corner of La Mesa—a lifelong dog-and-cat whisperer with a soft spot for neighborhood strolls, sunny snuggle sessions, and furry companions of every kind. From playful pups to wise old whiskers, I’ve shared my home and heart with my dachshunds and kitties galore—and I still believe there’s nothing better than earning a tail wag or a quiet purr of approval. I'm 100% retired and based in La Mesa’s Northmont area, I live near Northmont park…with lots of room for running and chasing a ball, or just lounging under a shady tree. I bring calm, consistent care with a side of local flair. Your pet and I might wander familiar trails, explore shaded sidewalks, or simply lounge on the porch with the breeze in our fur. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or just a drop-in cuddle and kibble check, I’ll treat your four-legged family like my own—with warmth, punctuality, and lots of love. Let’s make your time away feel like just another cozy day for your pet. I'm 100% retired and based in La Mesa’s Northmont area. I am currently available 7 days/week. Prefer early morning walks if possible to protect your pet's paws from hot pavement and heat of the day. I prefer not to provide visits to my personal home, but more than willing to care for your fur babies in your home, where they're comfortable and in their familiar environment. I’m fully insured with professional PCI ("Pet Care Insurance") liability coverage, including animal bailee and veterinarian reimbursement—giving you peace of mind while your pets are in my care. Safety, trust, and premium service are always my priority. Certified in Pet CPR & Emergency Care 🐾 Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I’m proud to be certified through the RECOVER Initiative—the gold standard in veterinary CPR training. This evidence-based program, developed by leading veterinary specialists, equips me with the skills to respond confidently in emergency situations. Whether I’m walking your dog or caring for your cat, you can trust that I’m prepared, informed, and committed to their well-being.

“Destiny is very knowledgeable about dogs. I appreciate her ability to come and minister to Huck as he is a rescue. Huck has independent rebellious ideas. We are trying to calm him to let him know he is safe and we care about him. Destiny can handle him and he likes her very much. In fact last visit he talked to her! I noticed it. Thanks Destiny!”

“I am so thankful for Suzanne for doing such an awesome job walking my little buddy the last few days while I was at work. She is friendly and reliable and Bruin loves her. He was so happy when I came home at the end of the day on the days she walked him!”

About: You need a dog sitter? I’m definitely your girl. The reason I’m different apart from other dog sitters is because no matter where I go I’ll stop to say hi to your dog and even gotten offers to dog sit from a few customers of mine from my job. Which, I was more than happy to do so. But, I mostly dog sit for my friends and family for some dog experience. I’m very caring, patient and playful with animals. I even noticed how excited they get when they see me again. Give me a shot and I promise I won’t let you down! I’m currently working at Target but I’m looking to take the next steps branch out and try something new so I’ll be available full time. I usually take care of pets at clients home only because it’s easier for the dog to not feel stressed out over any transitions. So I like to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible like sit down and figure out the way the dog likes to eat, play, sleep, drink, walk, and how they respond. For example, if I notice the dog doesn’t like to eat out of the bowl I’ll put a little bit food on my hand or on the floor to see how they respond that way little by little they start to feel more comfy with me. I also like to make sure the dog enjoys walking by trying to avoid running into other dogs and making sure I give them the time and attention to go to the bathroom whenever needed. I do like giving treats to the dog to help them feel happy. I also like to get their bed ready for them so they’re nice and cozy. I also like enjoy play time like catch or just sunbathing with them.

“Hannah is AMAZING with my baby girl (Bama). When I know she’s coming to walk my pup, I tell Bama, “Hannah’s coming over!” And she gets SO excited. I would give her 10 stars if I could!”

“Vic has a special love for all animals big and small. She has attention to detail from their quirks to their favorite form of play, it seems she's got a knack for caring about animals and creating a special bond with them. My old German shepherd just can't seem to get enough of her! However, she really shines in the ways she challenges my pets. From making sure my old dog gets in a good walk and all the medication he needs to convincing my cat to exercise; she's a blessing I simply couldn't live without.”
