I was a little nervous to drop my pup off for daycare less than a week after rescuing her, as she is quite wary of strangers. She jumped right into Howard’s arms and apparently spent the rest of the day happy as can be cuddled on his lap. She came home happy, tired, and ready for dinner & bed! Howard also does a wonderful job of sending updates and photos throughout the day. The first day she went to Howard’s, my pup hadn’t pooped in 2 days and it was something I was worried about. He sent me a text as soon as she went so that I would have peace of mind. She has since been back to Howard’s a few times a week and I can not recommend him more!”

About: Moved from Miami to Connecticut and starting to be open for pet sitting :). Note: Although our current home base is New Haven, we will be in Miami mid-May 2025 through early August 2025. ABOUT US: We have been taking care of a variety of pets over 20 years with our own pets or taking care of others. We have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, to even fish and turtles! We have the most experience with dogs and cats, but we are open to take care of other fuzzy, feathery or scaly friends! BILINGUAL: Hablamos Español. ❤️ OUR HOME: We live in the 2nd floor of an apartment complex. Our community is safe to walk around :). FAMILY DOG: We have a small dog (Natsu: Neutered, 9 lb, Papillon) who is good with other dogs/cats. We usually keep a dog fence between the living room and bedroom for a few days/visits as they get to know each other. For house sitting, our pup typically has to come with us. WHAT WE DO: I am a props master/scenic designer/technician and Claudia works from home as an eligibility specialist. As long as it our pup Natsu can come with us and there is internet connection then Claudia can give your pets attention and care all day with the occasional errand run/gym, treating them like our own. We take pride in our customer service, attention to detail, expectations for your pets, and your home as well. We don't mind taking care of plants if needed :). We are also open to travel long distances and out of state! PET CARE: We take care of the pets inside our home. We have a day bed that we change out the sheets any time we have a pet over so they have a comfortable place to rest, we enjoy walking frequently around our safe neighborhood. We clean dogs paws any time we go for a walk. We also use pet friendly cleaning products only. With permission, we have dog seatbelts for safety to take on short trips to the park or run errands. We can also continue with any training for the pet as long as details are given. We can provide oral medications as needed. We have not had experience with injectables but we are not opposed to learning how and there is two of us to help!

About: five years ago today i got my rescue mutt, jackson, & he is an absolute treasure to me. i've got a nice backyard, dog parks, hiking trails, & beaches nearby. jack is especially gentle with small dogs & children & perfectly well-behaved with everyone else except squirrels & cats. i'm a freelance musician so my schedule varies a lot - some weeks i'm available 24-7, others i'm working down in nyc, or further out of town. i'm in the process of shifting towards a more local life & will update this space as that process continues, but for now, just ask & i'll answer right away. big backyard with tall fences, me & my very friendly small lab mutt mix (50 lbs), comfy home with lots of great places to run & play nearby - anything else, just ask.

In my first memory, I am 4 years old, and my dad had just brought home our German Shepherd, Mandy Girl! I was so excited, she was my first best friend. Back home in Connecticut are Kipper and Bradley, the two loves of my life. They are grumpy seniors now, and I wouldn't change a thing! My experience administering medication I am entirely comfortable administering medication. Bradley's eyes required daily drops, he needed heart meds as well, which I was able to administer with ease. I have watched pets who were post surgery requiring special attention and was able to provide well for them and their comfort. Whatever your needs are, simply communicate with me and we will make it all happen!

About: Hi! Ive been pet sitting since I was 10 years old. Walking dogs, staying over night, or driving to the groomers, I'm open to anything! I grew up with both dogs and cats. I am originally from Bloomfield Hills, MI. I currently have a one year old mixed golden retriever at my house back home. We rescued him from the humane society last May. When I am home I spend lots of time with him! I am a full time student teacher, my hours are typically 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. I am available outside of that. I am very flexible and can often do short notice jobs. I will follow all instructions given to me by the owner to ensure they and their doggo are comfortable with the care I am providing. On walks, the dog will remain on leash unless instructed by the owner otherwise.

I'm sure my dog would love to make new friends as well! I live in a dog friendly community, dog park nearby, have a fenced courtyard, riverwalk in walking distance as well. I take my dog for at least one long walk (about an hour) per day and two other times aside from that. I make sure he doesn't eat any food scraps, anything from ground outside that could be harmful either. Smoke free and alcohol free home. Can also ensure any diet or food allergies are monitored appropriately.

About: My love of animals started when I was just 5 years old feeding the bunnies in my backyard. Ever since I have loved and cared for animals big and small. My neighbors, friends, and extended family members trusted me to care for their furry family members; so we bathed, ate, and had lots of fun! I now keep a basket of toys that we all can enjoy. I hope I can teach my son how to care for animals as much as I do! Im currently working as a teacher so I have time after work and on weekends to care for your furry friend! I can do weekends and some weekdays after 4pm! I love going on walks with my baby boy so a furry tag a long is always welcomed! I am in an apartment now so cozy indoor pets or walking buddies are always welcomed. The courtyard is not fenced but has plenty of green space and other pets to come along! We live next to the west rock hiking trails so I am often taking walks with my friends pets!
