“Stephanie has been very responsive to us in onboarding our 5 year old rescue to her care. She takes the time to get to know the dogs she cares for and works with them. Her calming way with the dogs inspires trust. We’ve done a one day visit in preparation for a longer stay. So far so great!”

About: I have taken care of dog for over five years since I was little! as an animal lover, I have always felt a strong connection with our furry little friends. Over the years, I have taken care of several dogs and cats for family and friends. From providing them with a lovely home to ensuring they receive the best possible care, I believe all pets deserve to be treated with love, respect, and compassion. I am excited and committed to taking care of your pets! I am currently a student, so I’ll have plenty of times dedicated to taking care of the pets. I only take one animal at a time, so I make sure that each animal gets my full attention. I live in an apartment, but I take dogs out for walks quite often throughout the day to make sure they’re not holding back. if I believe in giving the most loving and comfortable environment for our pets. So I strive to keep my household very clean and pay close attention to the hygiene of the animals
About: Since I’ve been a little girl I’ve grown up with all types of dogs. Whether it comes to hyper dogs, lazy dogs, mean dogs, you name it! I love taking care of dogs because they are my favorite animal and they deserve all the love in the world. I understand how hard it can be to take care of your dog when your busy, your pet is basically your child. I would take care of your pet as if it was your everything. I have grown up with a dog family and have had up to as many as five dogs at one time. I’m well aware of the needs a dog or cat needs, and I’m the perfect sitter to take care of your dog.

About: I’m from Scotland and I now live in Hamden with my husband and my pets. I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and dogs as a devoted pet landlord! I have two cats, Artemis and Apollo, both shorthair tuxedoes, who are incredibly friendly and relaxed. My littlest has asthma so I am very skilled at administering medication and caring for sick pets. I also have a little Malshi puppy called Doug who is potty trained, LOVES other dogs and cats, is hypoallergenic, and and all round little snowball of love. I absolutely love caring for animals and am I pretty much always have Doug with me! Pups are never alone as we both work from home. We have a backyard for potty breaks and we typically do walks at 9am and then again at 6pm. We have a 2 floor home with lots of space and so can separate pets into own rooms if needed. Also have a private back yard with fence.
“Noemi is incredible! She made Blue and I feel right at home. Her children are also incredibly sweet and loving. Blue had a fantastic time and took advantage of her large fenced in yard. I can tell he had a great time as he took a hearty nap as soon as we got home :) Thank you for all you do Noemi! Looking forward to return.”

“We had a wonderful experience using Ingrid’s doggy day care services for the first time. We started with a meet and greet and Ingrid is helping Shadow ease into the new space and other dog intros in a digestible fashion. She is quick to respond, has great communication, very professional and experienced, with attentiveness towards each dog’s unique needs. It’s a relief to know my pup is in safe, caring hands getting the love, attention, play and exercise he needs. We just moved to the area and are looking forward to booking with Ingrid regularly during my work days. Thank you, Ingrid!”

About: Caring for animals has been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home that always had two dogs at a time, and before moving out, my family had raised six wonderful dogs together. From energetic pups to older companions, I’ve experienced the full range of what it means to care for dogs through different stages of life. I currently share my home with two special-needs cats, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. Managing medications, monitoring behavior changes, and creating a calm, safe environment are all things I take seriously. My primary goal when caring for your pet is simple: I want them to feel happy, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I also know how important peace of mind is for owners. I’m communicative, reliable, and happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and cared for. I treat every animal with gentleness, respect, and the kind of attention I would want for my own pets. I work remotely in IT for a nonprofit organization, which gives me a very flexible weekday schedule. Because I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy having some furry company during the week. Whether that means a midday walk to break up my workday or a fuzzy companion nearby while I’m at my desk. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to structure my schedule around walks, feeding times, medication needs, or check-ins. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and you can expect consistent updates while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your routines and instructions carefully. I follow feeding schedules, medication needs, walking routines, and house rules closely so your pet’s world feels as consistent and familiar as possible while you’re away. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly. If your pet stays in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. They will have their own dedicated space in my finished basement office that is clean, hazard-free, and separate from my cats. This allows visiting pets to relax without feeling overwhelmed, and ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. The space includes a comfortable couch just for them, plenty of room to stretch out, and a calm environment away from household noise. I’m home during the day, so they’ll receive regular supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention, balanced with quiet time to rest.

Liza and her partner were absolutely amazing watching Alfie!! They both had such calm, positive energy and made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. Alfie came home happy, relaxed, and so well taken care of. I’d absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter!

We had a last minute need for day care for our Bassett hound puppy and Stephanie was able to help us out. She communicated clearly and provided us with many photos and good feedback. Our pup had a great experience and was tired out when she came home. Stephanie gave her excellent care.

Marianna was absolutely wonderful! I left my dog with her for 7 hours and he was a smiling bundle of joy when I picked him up. She took care to introduce my dog gently to the others in her home. She sent me photos letting me know that he was relaxed and being a good boy. Would definitely bring my pup back to her.

Miranda and her husband tool great care of my Izzy and Julio, even on a last minute booking on a road trip for a wedding. We had a quick meet and greet the morning of and everyone got along great. They have a nice big backyard which is always a plus for us. Would recommend Miranda if around the New Haven area.
