I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life! My family has always had large dogs (mastiff, labs, Australian shepherds). I also used to own horses so I am very comfortable working with animals.

Kaela is one of the most responsible and caring people I know. She is not only passionate about caring for animals, but is also extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She has played a pivotal role in raising and training multiple well-behaved, happy, healthy dogs. Kaela also has excellent communication skills and will prioritize you and your dogs needs. Kaela is one of the most loving and responsible pet caregivers I have ever known. Her passion for animals, especially dogs, has been a part of her life since childhood—her very first words were even her dog Kona’s name. She has experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from tiny 10-pound Chihuahuas to massive 180-pound Mastiffs, and she deeply understands their unique needs. What truly sets Kaela apart is her ability to read and respond to dogs’ cues with patience and intuition. She has an incredible way of making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Her own Siberian Husky is a testament to her training skills and dedication. I have no doubt that she would be an exceptional caretaker for any pet, treating them with the same care and attention she gives her own. Any pet in Kaela’s care is in the best hands possible!
Kaela took great care of my geriatric Chihuahua! She is so patient and thorough with my instructions! And my very moody 3.5 dog absolutely loves her! She is so great with pets! Very responsive, and responsible! I would def recommend for future pet sitting!

I am a PhD student at uva and a lot of my work and classes are online so I’m home most of the week with my husky, Ace.

We have lots of dogs toys, lick mats, and will go on a few walks around Arlington. We can go on longer walks too if that’s okay with your pup.
