About: What differentiates me from other pet care is that I stay true to the routine of the pets that are under my care. Dogs need a routine to feel calm and safe. Walks, sweets and feeding should be done at the usual time so that the dog feels comfortable and stress is avoided. I make sure to get details and a schedule from the owner to be able to fulfill them as much as possible. The pets' routines are my priority, I take them out to do their basic needs, I feed them, I take them for a walk, they hydrate, they take their nap, I give them lunch, I take them to do their needs, I take them for a walk, I give them their snack, I take them out to do their needs, I take them for a walk, and to sleep until the next day. I keep the area clean, I always change their water, I treat them as if they were my children and I treat the house as if it were my home

“My colleague recommended Howard to me as “the dog whisperer” and I can’t agree more! I was a little nervous to drop my pup off for daycare less than a week after rescuing her, as she is quite wary of strangers. She jumped right into Howard’s arms and apparently spent the rest of the day happy as can be cuddled on his lap. She came home happy, tired, and ready for dinner & bed! Howard also does a wonderful job of sending updates and photos throughout the day. The first day she went to Howard’s, my pup hadn’t pooped in 2 days and it was something I was worried about. He sent me a text as soon as she went so that I would have peace of mind. She has since been back to Howard’s a few times a week and I can not recommend him more!”

Mari is a wonderful individual, the kind of person who makes you feel like your soulmate pup will be in caring hands. She was flexible with our meet and greet & also when the original date changed. Mari is a calm, kind, friendly person who cares about the well-being of your doggo. :) She doesn't take on more than 1 dog at a time, which means your pup will get the extra attention they may need. This is reassuring in case one dog isn't a fan of other dogs or plays rough. Logan is 12 years in age & has slowed down due to a previous leg injury. It was important for me to leave him in a safe, calm space with an attentive, kind person. Mari's home was truly the right place for him! During Logan's visit, Mari kept me updated on how he was doing and sent plenty of cute photos. I really appreciate Mari's kindness with Logan & taking good care of him. About: I have help take care of pups since I was young for neighbors and family. Five years ago I dog/house sat an amazing old pup for two months, walked another dog twice a week and was hooked! I love taking care of dogs, playing with them and getting to know their personalities. Over the years I have taken care of more than 20 cats and dogs. I’ve learned that all animals have their own distinct personalities and I try to adapt to their needs. I would love to help out with you animals while your away and make them feel at home. I’m a student now so I spend a lot of time at home studying and working so your animal will have a buddy to hang out with. I’m a student so my schedule is all over the place which allows me to adapt to your pets needs. I love going on walks in the morning and afternoon and can take them out throughout the day. I really adapt to how the animal is used to being treated and cared for so that they are as comfortable as possible because it can be jarring to have a new person in your home or taking care of you. I try to take cues from how they live in their own home, so if they sleep in their parents bed at home they do at my place but if their parents prefer them not to be on furniture they won’t be on furniture. I stay open and adaptable to their needs and their owners needs. I also make sure that the first day that we are together that we play, walk and spend time together so that they can warm up to me.

They have a nice big backyard which is always a plus for us. Would recommend Miranda if around the New Haven area.”
