She’s a phenomenal and very trustworthy dog walker. I just moved to the area and was nervous to find someone that could check on Letty multiple times a week, and sometimes last last minute. Ruth has been amazing and has been very trustworthy. She always sends me pics from their walk. Letty also loves her and is super excited to see her everyday!

Micah was excellent with communication and attention to our dogs, one of which is a 100 lb puppy! She certainly made our time away easier with much less separation anxiety than ever before! We will definitely book with her for future trips without our furry children!

About: I grew up closely involved with many kinds of animals and have always been a lover of nature and wildlife. Along with numerous family pets, we often fostered cats and dogs, as well as newborn kittens and puppies. In high school, I spent over a year volunteering for the Animal Welfare League in Port Charlotte, FL, caring for cats and dogs of many varieties. I currently have 4 cats of my own, all rescues which I love dearly! It would be an honor for you to trust me with the care of your pet, and I guarantee that I will love and care for them as if they were my own. I have experience with providing cats with basic, routine medical treatments such as pills, topicals, and injections. Communication is important to me, and I will gladly provide you with any updates or answer any questions you may have while I'm looking after your home or pet. I'm currently seeking more self-employment opportunities, so my availability for daily or weekly sitting services is completely open! If you're looking for regular walks/visits, we can work together to schedule according to your pet's needs. You can rely on me to treat your home and pets with integrity and respect. Ensuring the comfort and safety of your animals is my top priority! I will listen to your unique needs and concerns, and provide attentive care.

About: Hi there! I’m Lia and this is my amazing full-time job. This is my dream job and I’m just in love taking care of pets specially dogs and cats. All my life I’ve been taking care of pets specially my sweet little girl Sharon (Sadly, she passed away two months ago.) so I’m more than prepared to take care of your best friend. I’m gonna do my best giving you the best experience ever! Things to consider: ~ Your pet needs to be friendly and kind with babies. ~ I need to meet you and your pet first before booking with me. ~ I don’t accept pets with separation anxiety. ~ I don’t accept aggressive pets. ~ Your pet needs to be house-trained. 🧻 ~ I live in a first floor. 🪜 ~ I have a closed backyard. ~ I speak Spanish and English . My schedule is: boarding (24/7) day care (every day 7pm-11pm) drop visits (Wednesday after 6:30pm, Thursday-Saturday 7am-7pm) Of course I would make some exceptions but basically those are my working hours. 🐶 🐱 I will give them all the love as much as they want and take care of them as if they were mine so you won't have to worry about them while they're in my care.

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with a dog and two cats and honestly, I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a furry friend by my side. I’ve always been surrounded by animals, from family pets to farm animals, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors. Now that I’m a college student, I really miss having animals around, so I’m excited to share my love and care with your pets! Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I’ll always make sure they’re safe, happy, and loved! I am currently in a social work graduate program, so I am in an internship during the weekdays 9am-4pm. I can usually work around those times, and I try to be as flexible as I can, so please reach out even if my calendar says I’m not available! I live in a pet-friendly apartment with two friendly cats (who can easily be separated if needed), a screened-in patio perfect for lounging, and access to a dog park and safe walking trail nearby. It’s a cozy, welcoming space where pets can feel relaxed and at home. I’m comfortable following any specific care routines or instructions you provide, and I’m also very intuitive when it comes to understanding an animal’s needs and emotions. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, quiet companionship, or just someone to make them feel secure while you’re away, I’m happy to provide that love and attention.

About: I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood. I'm naturally patient and enjoy taking the time to get to know each dog's personality and comfort level. I also have experience caring for a dog with extreme anxiety, so I'm comfortable providing extra reassurance, sticking to routines, and creating a calm environment. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while giving you peace of mind that they're in caring hands. I currently work part-time, with shifts typically lasting 6–7 hours in either the morning or evening. As a pet owner myself, I'm experienced in balancing work and providing attentive care. I prioritize making sure all pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and TLC, and I plan my schedule accordingly to ensure they're well cared for while in my care. I have a large, fully fenced yard where pets can safely play and explore. I also have two dogs and two cats who are friendly, well-socialized, and get along well with other animals. There is a quiet park near my home that I usually bring my dogs to walk. I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where every pet feels at home.

About: I have always had an admiration for animals no matter the type. But for some reason the love that you get in return from a dog is just indescribable. I know that it is always a weary feeling to leave your babies in the care of someone else. But it definitely helps to know that the person caring for your pet shares the same passion that you do. I never thought that I would own small dogs but I am actually glad that I do have two Chihuahuas now because I can take them almost anywhere! There has been an occasional weekend trip where I haven't been able to bring the pups along and it just didn't feel the same having to leave them behind. So if you have to leave them, leave them with someone who will care for them just as well as their own! I definitely prioritize my pets before any plans are made! No matter the time of day, week or year. They are my fur babies and anyone that knows me will agree! Depending on the environment or location, I would definitely say to use a leash first and foremost. I would also like to know if you know about the other animals in the area, just to provide as much safety as possible.

  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
