“Ruth does an excellent job caring for my puppies! She is prompt in response to any communication about their visits or changes in my work schedule, adjusts her schedule when possible to take them out earlier or later, and is easy to communicate with. She’s been overly helpful today especially when I forgot to put the lock box on my door on the way out and had a full schedule at work, she even stopped by to get the key where otherwise my puppies would have been stuck with no potty or exercise breaks for hours. These two are full of energy so I know they appreciated the extra play time they got together today also! We are very grateful for Ruth and her excellent dog walking services.”
“Karla has been a Godsend! One of my dogs is very difficult and she has him so well behaved. I don't knows what we would've done if we hadn't found her. It would've required renting a car and taking the doggies with us. Karla the best thing that's happened for us. 5 out of 5 for sure!”

“This was our first time using Bethany and Aaron’s dog-walking service. During the appointment setting process, Bethany was very responsive and professional. She communicates well and often, so we know what to expect. When we met, our dogs warmed up to both of them instantly. I joined them on this first walk, and have nothing to complain about. They did great! We will use their service again for sure.”

I also used to help my godmother with her pet sitting/walking business and through this learned the ins and outs of pet sitting and what different owners require! So, my schedule is open as long as I am given well enough notice to be able to call off of work! My experience with my personal animals is that I feed, wash, and provide my pets with the care they need. My personal animals are in a fenced yard, but I frequently walk them around my neighborhood. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
