We were very quickly put as easy with Karla's amazing, calm and caring nature and obvious genuine love of animals. Our dogs took to her straight away and not only were ok for the day, but had an associate blast with Karla and her little Coco. She sent us updates, photos and videos that made us feel beyond at ease, but so happy that our little ones were having a great time! ☺️ We are delighted to have Karla as an amazing person to look after our pooches at times we need to be away in the future as we know they will have the best care and it actually be an enjoyable, fun adventure for them! About: I’ve had pets to care for in my life for more years than I haven’t! From kitty liters being born on my porch to pups with epilepsy, I’ve seen & handled it all! I grew up with a dad who had a special interest in dogs & dog training (does the name Cesar Millan mean anything to you 😏) & we ALWAYS had pets in the house. I’ve cared for American Bulldogs, pugs, adult cats & kitty litters! (And chickens but I don’t think those are allowed in my apartment) I work remotely, so I’m always open to moving my schedule around for what may work best for your little one. We’ll keep em as on schedule as possible while you’re away. :) Im also a retired nanny! So I’m very used to sending check in photos and txt updates, as well as full “while you were away” reports upon trip returns! About: I am almost done with my CVA, which has given me hands-on experience with animal care and a strong understanding of animal behavior, basic health needs, and how to recognize when a pet may be stressed, uncomfortable, or need extra attention. I’m very attentive to routines like feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific care instructions you have for your pet. I also volunteered at a horse rescue for 6 years, which has helped me become even more patient and comfortable working with animals that all have different personalities and needs. Whether your pet is a playful puppy who needs consistency and extra energy or an older pet who needs a gentler approach, I’m confident in providing calm, dependable care and making sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine. I currently attend CVA school Monday through Thursday from 8–12, and because it’s a veterinary program, I’m able to bring new animals with me every day if that’s something an owner is comfortable with. This allows me to spend even more time with your pet and keep them with me throughout the day. Outside of school, I’m available the rest of the day and can realistically spend most, if not all, of my time with your pet. I also care for my own animals every day, including my dogs, cat, and reptiles—a snake, bearded dragon, turtle, and leopard gecko—so feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, cleaning cages, and keeping their spaces clean are all part of my normal routine. My entire day is basically centered around animals between school and caring for my own pets, so pet sitting fits very naturally into my life. I care for pets with a lot of attention, and fun! I usually feed my pets at the same time every day and follow a schedule, but I keep it flexible so it works for each pet’s needs. I give dry food and simple medications like NexGard but, I also have experience handling special diets and other medications.     Playtime happens whenever pets seem bored or want to go outside. I have lots of toys, treats, and fun activities inside, and I enjoy running with dogs outside or taking them on car rides. I also do some basic training for fun, though I’m not a professional trainer.   I keep spaces clean and comfortable, cages and tanks are cleaned regularly, puppy pads are replaced, and everything is wiped down with disinfectant as needed. Pets have their own quiet areas, toys, and treats to feel calm and safe. I’m very observant of their behavior, so I can notice when something feels off.    Pets aren’t left alone for long, except when I’m at school for a few hours. I’m used to managing multiple pets at once by keeping a close eye on everyone and giving each animal their own space when needed. My home is very clean, and I constantly sweep, mop, and vacuum.    Overall, I make sure pets are happy, safe, and comfortable, and I treat them as part of my family giving lots of love, attention, and care every day.

I have been pet-sitting for family since I was 10 years old. We recently moved away from family so now I have time to welcome your pups into my Florida family! I am a stay-at-home mom and have nothing but time for your pets. I walk my Shih-Tzus twice every day and would love to have yours' tag along! I am attentive and will treat your babies as my own. Our pups live in our home like regular family members. We have a fenced in yard that they can roam freely when they want to go out. Our neighborhood is also a great place to walk the dogs. I walk mine twice per day and would do the same for your pets.

About: 30 + years experience with dogs. I've owned or cared for other people's dogs since childhood. I have a large fenced in backyard for your pup to play! I love dogs and want to spoil and snuggle yours because I currently do not have a dog. I work part-time/variable schedule and my roommate works full-time from home so there is almost always someone home. I have a very flexible schedule so I am available most days of the week consistently for caring for your pet. I have a large fenced in back yard for your pup to play. My neighborhood also has a dog park area if you are comfortable with your dog in that setting. There are two chill, snuggly cats in my home.

My front doors have two barriers you can see that, in one of the photos on my profile. Customized meals for every dog. Home and dog areas sanitized daily. March 2026....10 years with Rover I have over 50 years professional experience caring for dogs, I am now retired. I have worked in the boarding, grooming, training and vet tech fields. YOUR DOG MUST BE FRIENDLY WITH OTHER DOGS NO BULLY BREEDS NO Dogs over 14yo NO drops offs or pickups after 6pm Your dog must be on flea preventive. I am retired and need to feel I am contributing to society in some small way. I love animals and they love me, so this is a good fit for me. I can care for dogs, cats, birds, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, rabbits, snakes, reptiles, raccoons and some small wildlife (depending on their needs) in their home or mine!

About: Dogs need attention just as much as humans do, if not more! We provide games, fun exercises, walks, and most importantly a nice nap. My husband has experience with birds, cats, and dogs! I'm at home all day and my husband works close by. Minimum 3 walks a day as we really enjoy exercising. We both give a lot of attention to our dog! We have several dog play areas in our community. We have a balcony where our furry friends can sit and people watch. We also have several dog beds so our friends can recharge their energy!

All supplies required for your dog during their stay must be brought to the home upon sitting. I am unable to spend money for dog supplies. Thank you in advance! I currently work nights 4 days a week. I will be home to watch and care for your fur babies during the day while they are awake and have 3 days off to spend with them!
