About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I STRICTLY KEEP ONLY ONE PET FAMILY AT A TIME - so I can focus on their personal and familiar schedule, happiness, and safety. I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!
About: I am almost done with my CVA, which has given me hands on experience with animal care and a strong understanding of animal behavior, basic health needs, and how to recognize when a pet may be stressed, uncomfortable, or need extra attention. I have lots of toys, treats, and fun activities inside, and I enjoy running with dogs outside or taking them on car rides. I keep spaces clean and comfortable, cages and tanks are cleaned regularly, puppy pads are replaced, and everything is wiped down with disinfectant as needed. Pets have their own quiet areas, toys, and treats to feel calm and safe. I’m very observant of their behavior, so I can notice when something feels off. Pets aren’t left alone for long, except when I’m at school for a few hours. I’m used to managing multiple pets at once by keeping a close eye on everyone and giving each animal their own space when needed. My home is very clean, and I constantly sweep, mop, and vacuum. Overall, I make sure pets are happy, safe, and comfortable, and I treat them as part of my family giving lots of love, attention, and care every day.
