About: I have been a dedicated pet owner and animal lover my entire life, caring for both dogs and cats from childhood through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of raising and caring for multiple pets, including those adopted, rescued, or entrusted to me by others. At one point, I lovingly managed a household of five pets, ensuring each received attentive, compassionate care. My experience also includes caring for a beloved dog left to me by a close friend, honoring his wish that I provide a safe and loving home. Today, I continue that same level of care by helping my son and his wife with their dogs whenever they travel—my “granddogs,” who I adore. With a lifetime of hands-on experience, I understand the importance of trust, consistency, and genuine affection when it comes to pet care. I am now excited to extend that care to others in my community, offering reliable, attentive support for pet owners who need assistance while traveling or during busy workdays. I'm currently retired I retired from the federal government working for the NOAA Hurricane Hunters after 33 years of service. I've been enjoying travel and visiting with family and friends and when I'm home I thought I could do some things that I enjoy and help other people that may need or want to travel or just need help with their fur babies 🐕🐾🐈‍⬛️🐈 I currently do this for my son and his wife when they want to travel the world or have business trips with my granddogs 👑🐾😆🐕 For clients that need assistance with pet sitting, I usually love to have an outline of what you prefer so that I can honor the type care that you also provide your pets. I follow an outline when I care for my family's pets when they travel and they provide the list of the vitamins or any quarks or anything that I need to know a timeline and I just try to honor whoever needs care by how they would like the care handled while they are away. The main thing is that I don't want anybody to worry when I'm caring for their pets. You should be able to travel and handle business trips or vacations without worrying if you're not able to take your pet with you that they're safe and well cared for. I also like to make notes daily,if I'm giving vitamins or supplements or anything occurs I want to share. I like to keep track of it and leave that sheet for you when you return.

About: I've owned and cared for all types of dogs. I've walked and cared for large and small. I've experenced easy, well trained to the most challenging. I love them all. I'm retired, so I can easily work in walks, drop-ins, and sittings during my days. Most days I'm available after 10 A.M., but I'm flexible. I only do care at the pet parent's house, and I follow the guidelines the pet-parent sets because routines are important for consistency. I will always respect your home.

About: I have always had an admiration for animals no matter the type. But for some reason the love that you get in return from a dog is just indescribable. I know that it is always a weary feeling to leave your babies in the care of someone else. But it definitely helps to know that the person caring for your pet shares the same passion that you do. I never thought that I would own small dogs but I am actually glad that I do have two Chihuahuas now because I can take them almost anywhere! There has been an occasional weekend trip where I haven't been able to bring the pups along and it just didn't feel the same having to leave them behind. So if you have to leave them, leave them with someone who will care for them just as well as their own! I definitely prioritize my pets before any plans are made! No matter the time of day, week or year. They are my fur babies and anyone that knows me will agree! Depending on the environment or location, I would definitely say to use a leash first and foremost. I would also like to know if you know about the other animals in the area, just to provide as much safety as possible.

About: I worked at an animal shelter for a 4 years- fostering litters of puppies and older dogs at my home. I’m currently studying Animal Behavior & Digital Cinematography through online classes; I am a Certified Vet Assistant. I have 2 friendly active dogs of my own as well! I currently work at a rescue part-time, so I have experience with all breeds from all types of backgrounds! From anxious dogs to the high energy goofball’s I can handle it. I’m currently a part-time student and part time employee at a boarding facility. I go on runs, walks and hikes and would love to bring your pet for a stroll. I am also able to just hang out and spend quality time with your pup or cat if they have separation anxiety. I have a fenced yard and pool. If your animal needs to be kenneled, a crate will need to be provided. Three people in total live in my household, so someone will always be present to keep an eye on everything. Feeding will be done separate as a safety precaution and playtimes with my personal dogs will be monitored. I treat every animal as though they are my own; furbabies are exactly as the name suggests- babies!!

About: I’ve been the designated pet babysitter for my extended family for years. I often house sit or drop-in visit and have taken care of dogs at all life stages, from rowdy puppies to seniors with a laundry list of pills to take. I’ve got free time in my schedule so I am open to watching weekends and most weekdays. I am open to watching them for a long weekend so you can get away knowing your furry friends are taken care of! The most important part of watching pets in the home is keeping to their established routine. I’ve found that dogs are always more comfortable when disruption is kept to a minimum.
