“We hesitated writing a review because, honestly, we’re selfish and don’t want his popularity to skyrocket, making it harder to book him! But he truly deserves it more than anyone on Rover. He’s amazing! Quick to respond, always on time, no matter the weather—whether it’s raining or ridiculously hot. We trust him 100%. He even has the code to our front door, comes in, gets the dogs, makes them happy, and brings them back exhausted (which is no easy feat with our two energetic GSPs). So, long story short—book him! You won’t regret it.”

“Ruth is always quick to respond to my messages and is very reliable. She makes sure to keep my updated on my girl’s status when she walks her and always sends me pictures. She’s flexible and understanding as well. I’m very happy and lucky to have found her since I moved to a new area.”

“Margot loves her walks and time with Kylee! So thankful we found an awesome doggie walker! I feel guilty for being unable to do long walks so it is amazing knowing Margie’s having a great time when we’re apart!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. My heart is always happy with pets, I enjoy to play with them, feed, bath, walk or just snuggle together. I work in my home office, so I’m able to take care of the pets in my house every day and night in a week. I have a couple doggy parks nearby so I can take pets every day to park. Also I like to walk around lakes and natural trails so will have a lots of fun together.

About: I have taken care of all of my families pets for most of my life. I also used to help my godmother with her pet sitting/walking business and through this learned the ins and outs of pet sitting and what different owners require! I currently work a part time job where I am given the schedule for the next week the week before, but I have 14 days to schedule off of work. So, my schedule is open as long as I am given well enough notice to be able to call off of work! My experience with my personal animals is that I feed, wash, and provide my pets with the care they need. My personal animals are in a fenced yard, but I frequently walk them around my neighborhood. With my cats I provide similar care, taking care of their litter and grooming and food needs.
“Bethany and Aaron did a great job. Our dogs love them both. They communicate regularly and even send pictures. This is the second time we have used them and we are sure our pups are well taken care of. Would definitely recommend.”

About: I have always had an admiration for animals no matter the type. But for some reason the love that you get in return from a dog is just indescribable. I know that it is always a weary feeling to leave your babies in the care of someone else. But it definitely helps to know that the person caring for your pet shares the same passion that you do. I never thought that I would own small dogs but I am actually glad that I do have two Chihuahuas now because I can take them almost anywhere! There has been an occasional weekend trip where I haven't been able to bring the pups along and it just didn't feel the same having to leave them behind. So if you have to leave them, leave them with someone who will care for them just as well as their own! I definitely prioritize my pets before any plans are made! No matter the time of day, week or year. They are my fur babies and anyone that knows me will agree! Depending on the environment or location, I would definitely say to use a leash first and foremost. I would also like to know if you know about the other animals in the area, just to provide as much safety as possible.

Additionally, I am well-versed in senior pet care, offering gentle and patient support tailored to their unique needs. My genuine love for animals drives me to go above and beyond, ensuring every pet feels safe, happy, and loved under my care. I’m home for the summer and working part time as an interior design intern. I am home most days so I will be able to give the upmost care and attention to your pet. I offer both in-home and client-home pet care services, each tailored to meet the unique needs of the pets and their owners. **In My Home:** Your pet will be welcomed into a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment. I provide a comfortable space with plenty of toys and cozy resting areas. Regular exercise, playtime, and cuddles are a part of the daily routine. I maintain a consistent feeding schedule and adhere to any special dietary requirements. With constant supervision, your pet will never feel alone or neglected. **In Your Home:** I ensure your pet stays comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I follow your specified routines for feeding, exercise, and playtime, maintaining consistency for your pet's well-being. I am attentive to their needs, providing companionship and care while you're away. For puppies, I continue with their training and socialization, and for senior pets, I offer gentle and patient care tailored to their needs. In both settings, my top priority is the happiness and health of your pet. My approach is to treat every pet as if they were my own, providing the love and attention they deserve.
About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid—everything from German Shepherds and Pit Bulls to Chihuahuas and Great Danes. I’ve administered medicine, handled special feeding routines, and taken care of elderly animals with extra needs. I’ve also pet-sat for family friends, neighbors, and multiple households over the years. I currently live with cats I care for full-time, and I’m happy to help with additional tasks like watering plants, taking out litter, or feeding fish. I’m great at following specific instructions and keeping pets happy and healthy. I’m currently between jobs and going back to school in the fall, which means I have full availability all summer long. My schedule is extremely flexible, and I’m happy to accommodate your pet-sitting needs—whether that’s regular check-ins, overnights, or last-minute help. I live locally in Mulberry and often help out at my family’s pharmacy, but otherwise my time is yours! I prioritize creating a calm, clean, and secure environment. I always follow the pet’s routine to keep things consistent—mealtimes, walks, medications, and even preferred toys or napping spots. I’m respectful of the client’s space and clear about communication, sending regular updates and checking in if anything seems off. I make sure pets feel safe by being patient, affectionate, and attentive to their needs—whether that’s quiet time for a nervous cat or extra play for an energetic pup. Trust is everything, and I take that seriously from day one.
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I currently have 4 dogs in my household that I take care of. I foster animals for the SPCA in my home. I currently work at an animal hospital caring for boarding pets. I am very passionate about helping animals and giving them the love they deserve. I am currently a college student working towards my veterinarian degree. I currently work part-time so I do have plenty of time in my schedule to care for your pups! My schedule does vary through June, but most days I am available after 3pm and have some full days off during the week. In my home, I have 4 well trained dogs and a fenced in backyard. I have plenty of extra space for a quite environment away from the other dogs.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I walk, feed, and love my pets everyday of the week. I have two ferrets as well as dogs. I have watched family and friends pets when they have gone on vacation and had other responsibilities. I’m very responsible and a big animal lover! I have school monday- friday but am always available after and on weekends! I can pretty much walk every 0-2 hours (unless in school) and feed when it’s necessary. I have a small piece of walking land on top of a big neighborhood that is pet friendly and safe! They provide treats and trash bags to pick up dog feces.
About: I’ve had experience with different pets all my life. I was lucky enough to grow up with parents that never turned away a pet I wanted: cat, dog, frog, mouse, rabbit, guinea pig, you name it. I’ve loved it and cared for it. We currently have two Rottweilers and a cat. One dog unfortunately has stomach issues, seizures, arthritis and severe skin allergies. I am very well accustomed to administering medications, whether oral or injections, as I am an RN who is a current stay at home mom. I went back to work as an RN for a while but I am back at home and reopen for bookings! I am generally available from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, unless there’s an appointment I need to attend. I am excited to get back to providing loving care for my clients! I have had great success with great clients that have given instructions on how their pets like to be greeted and behave. My pet parents know their babies best so I always use their suggestions. Sometimes it’s with treats, sometimes it’s with a ball, and sometimes it’s with creating space and honoring their wishes (usually cats lol).
About: I grew up with 2 boxers and a greyhound. Both breeds were VASTLY different, with the boxers being extremely high energy and discipline being a top priority. The greyhound was the polar opposite. Low energy, with a sprint around the yard he was done for the afternoon. In my young adult life, I have had cockapoos, which yet again were a completely different breed! Currently, I am conquering raising a bernedoodle puppy named Shelby who I love to pieces. I have grown up around dogs and have taken care of a variety of breeds, each of them having different and loveable characteristics and challenges. I currently am available at most times for dog daycare, boarding and walking. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home during the weeks. I would love to host your fur baby for the day or for boarding if you are going away. They must get along with other dogs, as I have 2 of my own that are very friendly.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lakeland Highlands
I want to thank Bethany and Nathan for being so awesome! They have cared for my baby Angel several times now. They are very reliable and responsive. I have been accomadated for last minute sittings. I am a nurse and sometimes get called into work a 12 hour shift at the last minute. I call Bethany and she sits for Angel with no problem. I feel very comfortable leaving Angel with Bethany, I don't have to worry about her. I can focus on what I'm doing with no fears about Angel. If you are a pet parent you know how important it is to find someone knowledgeable and reliable to care for your pet who is like your child. You can feel safe and secure that Bethany and Nathan will treat your pet just like their own. Just to wrap up I want to say that from the first time Angel meet Bethany and Nathan she took to them like she has never done before. I was amazed and knew then I had found the right person's to sit for Angel whom I love very much.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
