“Bethany is awesome person to help me out by visiting my furry buddy and taking him out potty while I was away for a full day. She also sent bunch of pictures of Luna, indeed it gave me a greatness of relief. She is reliable and trustworthy, hire her!”

“Jennifer is the best!!!! My cats were treated so well that I didn't see any difference in their behavior after our extended departure. They were relaxed when we arrived and I could see right away that they really liked the care Jennifer gave them. Jennifer was very helpful and available. She helped us out when our trip out of the country was extended by 2 weeks. I had peace of mind knowing my cats were in good hands. Everything was clean when I arrived and my cats had missed us, but I could see that they were relaxed and well fed. seraphin, my most shy cat, was super comfortable with her, and that's a great proof of the quality of the bond Jennifer knows how to build with animals. Thank you :-)”

“Dede was fantastic. She sent me pictures of everything every day and I was very happy that I found her on this app. I highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my house for my entire life. Seriously, not a single day without a dog! I currently have 2 mini dachshunds, which if you know, can be known as one of the trickiest breeds. They are my babies, and they’ve inspired me to use my love of animals for good! I also have experience volunteering at the SPCA, caring for both small and large breeds. I work from home and have opportunities throughout the day to use my time for animal care. I live in a highly residential area that puts me very close to a lot of homes who may need care. I will follow the owner’s directions exactly, and treat their dogs as my own. I love spending time outside, allowing the dogs to get plenty of fresh air and play time.
“She was absolutely fantastic! Had to book her last minute due to another sitter not responding. She came over that night since we were leaving in the morning. Followed all directions and sent lots of pictures. Could tell she gave my pup lots of love. Will definitely book again! Thank you Isabella!”

“Second time having Megan watch my cats while I was gone and I will use her again and again! Always sends me pictures of my boys, is there on time, and even does little things like feeding my fish or putting my package inside. I appreciate her so much!!”

About: I have taken care of all of my families pets for most of my life. I also used to help my godmother with her pet sitting/walking business and through this learned the ins and outs of pet sitting and what different owners require! I currently work a part time job where I am given the schedule for the next week the week before, but I have 14 days to schedule off of work. So, my schedule is open as long as I am given well enough notice to be able to call off of work! My experience with my personal animals is that I feed, wash, and provide my pets with the care they need. My personal animals are in a fenced yard, but I frequently walk them around my neighborhood. With my cats I provide similar care, taking care of their litter and grooming and food needs.
About: I’ve pet sat for a teacher, best friend and my aunt. I’ve worked with reactive dogs and dogs of different sizes and backgrounds, even mine. With every animal that I work with and take care of, I treat them like my own. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals thanks to working at pet supermarket. I’m currently not working but I am looking for a job. I’m available everyday, early mornings and evenings Monday - Saturday and all day on Sundays. While in a clients home, I will play your dog(s) for as long as they want with breaks in between. I will keep the house clean from any messes that may be made. While in my care, your pet will be treated with respect and I will love them as my own.
About: Life-long animal lover and future vet, dedicated to providing expert care and comfort for your furry babies. This will also be my 3rd year taking veterinary classes! I’m currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time on my hands and I’d still be doing this when school starts back up. I have a fenced in backyard and I have 2 Yorkies that love meeting other dogs and cats. I have one cat that is also very friendly.
“Kane is pretty shy usually when meeting new people, but my dad said he took right to her! She was great in letting me know what was happening during both drop in visits and super friendly! I definitely know who I will be booking when we need to go away again.”

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was 15 and have experience with all different breeds! My first job was in a pet store, so I’m very familiar with caring for puppies and a large range of different pets! I am a stay at home fur mom and human mom and have open availability to check in on your pet(s). I can check in multiple times per day and can offer discounts for multiple days. Currently I am not offering services in my home for any pet. As our son gets older, we may decide to open up our home for puppy vacations

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
