“This was our first time using James’s for our fur babies and both Winston and Bella just fell into a routine and made themselves right at home! He did a great job entertaining both of our dogs at the same time and loving them equally. They have different foods, and he was able to take care of each of them as they needed to be taken care of. Also, he mentioned that he would keep in touch and send pictures. He absolutely did a great job letting us know how our babies were doing even within a couple hours of dropping them off, and letting us see that they were getting the love and attention they needed. About: I’ve been caring for pets as long as I can remember. I generally just do it as a favor for friends and relatives. I currently own two dogs. I’m good with any age of a dog or cat. I work everyday during the week. However, I do have time on my lunch break to let animals out depending on the distance. I’m free after 4:30 on business days and 3 on weekends. I don’t have a problem staying the night at someone’s house if it’s needed. I cannot currently dog sit at my house due to one of my dogs being aggressive. He’s very slow to warm up and I don’t want to chance it.

About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!
About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. About: I've owned and cared for all types of dogs. I've walked and cared for large and small. I've experenced easy, well trained to the most challenging. I love them all. I'm retired, so I can easily work in walks, drop-ins, and sittings during my days. Most days I'm available after 10 A.M., but I'm flexible. I only do care at the pet parent's house, and I follow the guidelines the pet-parent sets because routines are important for consistency. I will always respect your home.

She is prompt in response to any communication about their visits or changes in my work schedule, adjusts her schedule when possible to take them out earlier or later, and is easy to communicate with. She’s been overly helpful today especially when I forgot to put the lock box on my door on the way out and had a full schedule at work, she even stopped by to get the key where otherwise my puppies would have been stuck with no potty or exercise breaks for hours. These two are full of energy so I know they appreciated the extra play time they got together today also! We are very grateful for Ruth and her excellent dog walking services.”

About: I have always had an admiration for animals no matter the type. But for some reason the love that you get in return from a dog is just indescribable. I know that it is always a weary feeling to leave your babies in the care of someone else. But it definitely helps to know that the person caring for your pet shares the same passion that you do. I never thought that I would own small dogs but I am actually glad that I do have two Chihuahuas now because I can take them almost anywhere! There has been an occasional weekend trip where I haven't been able to bring the pups along and it just didn't feel the same having to leave them behind. So if you have to leave them, leave them with someone who will care for them just as well as their own! I definitely prioritize my pets before any plans are made! No matter the time of day, week or year. They are my fur babies and anyone that knows me will agree! Depending on the environment or location, I would definitely say to use a leash first and foremost. I would also like to know if you know about the other animals in the area, just to provide as much safety as possible.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for over five years now. My family and friends rely on me when they go out of town or call me when they need advice on how to care for their pets :) I work fives days a week Monday-Friday 5a-1:30p and I’m off on the weekends so that leaves plenty of time to spend relaxing around the house or running around the yard or whatever else they may fancy I live in a large house with a huge fenced in yard that all the doggies love! About: All creatures in my home with be treated with respect, warmth, and feel safe. I am in tune to a pets needs especially when left in a different place. I will work to ensure all animals left in my care will feel safe, warm and loved. I am able to give prescribed medications as needed as I am a retired RN. I get up early and need to feel busy. Retirement is enjoyable but I am used to feeling needed. So, taking care of Dogs and Cats will full-fill this for me. Our home has a caged pool area with dog door. The large yard is fully fenced with area to run. My husband and I love to be outside and we have a safe neighborhood to go for walks. During fall, winter and Spring we walk with our dog frequently. Summer is too hot.

Not only did he communicated at least 3 times a day with videos and pictures but also took my Onyx on beautiful trips to socialize with other puppies, and took the extra time to teach her new tricks! I wish I could bring him to my city and keep him forever for my Onyx! She has had issues in the past with other pet sitters because she is territorial and protective, people had misinterpreted her in the past leaving her in cages and bathrooms, I was getting accustomed to the idea that she was a problem dog, until we met Kenneth, she was calmed, playful and obedient after feeling his true care for her! Kenneth is recommended 1000% ? and will be always my pet sitter in the Orlando area for as long as go down to South Florida!”
