About: Animals have always been family in my home. I had a Terrier who I cared for throughout every stage of life into their elderly years, which gave me experience with senior dog care, patience, and understanding changing needs as dogs age. I’ve also spent a lot of time around other family dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and anxiety needs. I understand that every dog has their own temperament and comfort level, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like part of the family. Whether a dog is playful and energetic or shy and anxious, I’m patient, attentive, and focused on creating a calm environment where they can feel comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, so I am almost always home with the dogs. I absolutely love dogs and enjoy giving them attention and affection. My home is very family-oriented, and pets are treated like part of the family. I will be the primary caregiver at all times but there will be tons of love from my family as well. I have a fully enclosed fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, run around, and get fresh air. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks around Uptown or to local parks for exercise, stimulation, and fun. Since I spend most of my time at home, I am able to provide consistent care, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and a calm, loving environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for. I provide loving, attentive care for pets both in my home and in my clients’ homes. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family and have a safe, comfortable environment with access to our fully enclosed fenced backyard for exercise and outdoor time. I make sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and cared for based on their individual personality and needs. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, dog sitting, and boarding. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, anxious, or a senior needing extra patience, I focus on creating a calm, caring experience and keeping pet parents updated for peace of mind.

About: We have lots of experience in raising and loving dogs for over 40 years with the ability to care for any age or size. We've had dogs all our married life and our most recent dog, Reba is looking for some friends to play with. We're able to cater to your dogs special diets, continue to implement your training techniques and provide that loving home while you are away. As a retired husband and wife duo our schedules are quite flexible and we spend most of our time at home with our dog Reba. Drop off anytime between 7 AM - 8 PM (please inquire for drop off outside these times for availability). A doggie door provides easy access to our fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass, a lovely patio and lots of shade to create the perfect space for your dog to lounge outside. Inside the home we're able to provide a safe space to eat and a cozy environment where dogs can lounge on the couches and escape the heat. While we don't allow dogs in our bed you're more then welcome to bring their favorite bed/blanket and we'll provide a quiet space for them to dream away. Our grandchildren visit often (ages 10 +) so kid friendly dogs are a must.

About: Being around animals brings me a lot of joy. I love discovering their individual personalities because, just like people, every pet is different. When I meet an animal, I pay attention to their energy and let them show me what they need. Some want to play immediately, some are cautious, and some would rather observe from across the room for a while. I’m happy to meet them wherever they are rather than forcing interaction. My Shiba and Malamute have taught me plenty about that. My Malamute is a big-time attention seeker, while my Shiba prefers his personal space (although he occasionally gives in to a cuddle and then mysteriously ends up snoring next to me). 😂 I keep boarding intentionally small so your pet gets the attention they deserve in a calm home environment. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, energetic dogs, shy pets, and animals who need medication or extra patience. Most importantly, I’ll follow the care and routines you want for your pet. You know them best, and I want their stay to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have flexibility for early mornings, midday visits, overnights, and last-minute requests when available. I’m responsive and happy to work around your pet’s normal routine, including specific feeding, exercise, or medication schedules. My home is calm, non-smoking, and fully fenced. I have two dogs of my own, and I’m experienced with introducing and managing animals thoughtfully so everyone can feel comfortable. I keep boarding intentionally small and pay close attention to each pet’s temperament and needs. Client dogs stay leashed until we’re safely inside, and I don’t take them to dog parks. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect I would want for my own. I’ll follow your routines, care for your space, and make sure your pets get the same attention and consistency they’re used to.

About: I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and cats, and have dedicated 17 years to caring for them. My experience includes working at various pet hotels, where I provided loving, attentive care. Animals bring me joy, and I’m passionate about ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for every day. My pup that I had for 16 years passed in March 2024 and I can’t find the heart to get another pet of my own, but I would love to help others take care of theirs. I work from home and I’m very flexible. I also have reliable transportation, it is also a large vehicle so I am able to transport large dogs/pet equipment I have a very large property that is fully enclosed and double gated… The front gate facing the street is an iron 6 foot gate.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, a mixture of my own pets and those of my family and friends. Having grown up with dogs, I have constantly been around them and have grown to be comfortable with them. I am also willing to learn and adapt to take care of and meet the needs of your animal as best as possible. Every time I go to walk, play, or take care of your dogs, I will commit to showing them all the love while you are away! I have a dog of my own- a while Terrier Mix that is always full of energy! I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a ton of availability and am able to accommodate lots of walks, drop-ins, and house sittings as needed. I am also able to accept last-minute bookings! When in your home, I would love to take your doggy on walks or to the park. Anything that you already do to make your dog feel comfortable! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide regular walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention. I also clean up after pets, monitor their behavior, and make sure the home stays clean and secure. I understand every pet has different needs, so I always try to be patient, reliable, and attentive to their personality and routine.

About: I've been a dog owner since I was about 7 years old. I had a husky mix growing up, a very active dog all black with a curly tail I'd walk regularly and keep active. I now have two small breed dogs. A chihuahua mix named Brownie that's just 8 lbs, rescued in 2015 and I have a Rat Terrier named Taco and he was rescued in March 2020, he's about 15 lbs. All their shots are up to date and they are neutered. I am an active runner/walker and I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks regularly/daily. I take them out for about 1 mile or more if we're going out on trails or more adventures. I've traveled with my dogs by plane and by car. I'm very comfortable with dogs! Love spending time with them. I've walked my dogs and others dogs now for years. I have a two active pups to play with should they wish but otherwise they're welcome to play and have fun how they wish. I love to let them have fun.

About: I have had a dog since my first memory up until 3 years ago we lost our 3rd family dog. I have 3 years of experience walking dogs and about a year of training experience at a doggy daycare. I understand what pets need and the care they deserve from everyday operation at the facility I work at. I acquired a B.S. in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona to strengthen my understanding of animal health and welfare. I’m currently working towards my trainers certification, which is done at home at my own pace. I have an empty and free schedule to dedicate all my time to giving your best friend a positive experience!!! I have a 10 foot high fence and 8 foot surrounding barriers. My yard can accommodate 5-6 large dogs for them to run around and play comfortably. I also take dogs on 15-30 minute walks giving them opportunities to sniff and explore their environment just like they were meant to!

“Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Mel will be out #1 Rover choice from now on!”
