“Highly recommend Fatima! She is awesome! My pup is sick and had to give her different kinds of medications few specific times. Fatima not only maintained those properly but also gave me updates on time. Fatima also took Kulfi to park to play and I can tell she loved Fatima. Will definitely book her again whenever I’ll need.”

“Savannah was great! She listened well to my requests and updated me on how Qtip was doing :) He was his chipper self when I picked him up so I think he had a great time with her!”

“As fellow dog sitters ourselves, we know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pup with someone, and Jenni gave us that peace of mind from the start! First time Gigi stayed with Jenni and she was incredibly responsive from the start. While we were at the Angels game, we received lots of pictures of Gigi playing with her new friend, enjoying toys, and going on an evening stroll. Gigi looked so happy! 🐾❤️ Pickup was just as seamless, with Jenni meeting us outside, carrying Gigi to us when we arrived. Her location was also super convenient, only about 10 minutes from the stadium! We really appreciated the communication and care Jenni gave Gigi and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“This is our fourth visit. Jake seems to have a better time every time he is with you. Jing also gave him a nice present for his 12th birthday, which was incredibly sweet. Thank you for loving Jake.”

“Eunice was great as responding quick and Kobe had a great time at her home. There were multiple updates throughout the day. I will definitely use her services again for Kobe.”

“Muffins always has a great time with Lawrence. He is a very thoughtful sitter and provides a wonderful environment for him. The awesome pictures during the stay are an added bonus! Thanks!”

“I needed a dog sitter on very short notice, and I’m so glad I found Angelica! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we connected. Both of my dogs took to her right away, and when I picked them up, they kept going back to her to be pet and attention, that says it all! “It was such a pleasure working with Cindy and Jennifer. They were flexible with scheduling which was a great lifesaver. My work schedule changed last minute so I had to change Harper’s daycare to a sooner date and I was so glad that they were able to accommodate. They were also very good with Harper. Taking her out for walks and feeding her. All while sending me updates and pictures of Harper. So glad we found them and will definitely be going back for more!”
About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.
“Attended a multi day meeting at the LA Convention Center and wanted to bring my dog to spend time with in the evening. Found Jae and she was right down the way from LA Convention Center & Crypto Arena. I dropped off Wesley Archer each morning for day care with Jae and she was amazing! Took really great care of him, sending timely pics through the day and has the perfect outdoor play area and safe walking space for your pup! I couldn’t have been happier with her services and was so grateful to have found and selected her for my visit. Great to know she is there should I come up from OC for another event. Thanks Jae and Wesley Archer says hello!”

Mel was absolutely wonderful to work with! We were traveling from out of town for travel sports and when the weather report changed last minute it was no longer safe to keep our dog with us during the day. That’s when we found Mel and I am so grateful we did. Our dog has separation anxiety but minutes after we left we got pictures of him completely settled in. By the second day he was running from the car to the front door excited to spend the day with his new friends! Mel was communicative and sent frequent updates which put my anxious mind completely at ease. I highly recommend working with him. He is by far the best sitter we’ve used. I only wish we lived closer. However, we look forward to coming back when we attend this event again next year.
Amy and her husband were amazing with our fur babies! Pickup and drop-off were seamless, and we felt completely comfortable leaving them in their care. Communication was great—they kept me updated every few hours with photos. We’re so grateful we found them and will definitely be booking again. 🐾💖

Sorry for the delay in this review. I recently took my 16 year old Maltese for day camp, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we arrived, Carol and her husband was welcoming and attentive. It was clear they genuinely care about the dogs. The area were clean and well-organized, providing a safe space for all the pups. My dog was a bit hesitant at first, but they were patient and made him feel right at home. I was especially impressed that, even after a full day at a place my dog is not familiar with, he came home relaxed and showed no signs of anxiety(this is what we need) Overall, my experience was nothing short of excellent! I highly recommend Carol to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and enjoyable environment for their furry friends. Thank you for providing such a fantastic day camp experience! We'll return shortly on additional boarding requests

Elveirys and Yuraima did a great job in taking care of Lucy; ensuring I was updated every few hours to ensure she was doing and behaving well. Additionally, they are very professional and understanding caregivers who know how to deal with higher energy dogs, having a big yard to ensure my dog got the exercise she needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
