About: I’ve had pets my whole life (I am 25 years old)! I’ve had the responsibilities of picking up after my pets, walking them, feeding them, and bathing them for about as long as I can remember! I am a dedicated physical therapy student at USC and I love being around animals since it relieves my stress. I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats, and I have so much love for all 3 of them! I will be more than happy to care for your pets with the same love and respect that I treat mine with! I work about 30 hours per week, I have Wednesdays off along with weekends. I sometimes have Fridays off as well. When I’m home, I love watching/walking dogs! When I watch pets at my home, I typically keep them in a separate room from my dogs, because I know it could be very stressful for the pets. When I go to a clients home, I make sure to be very respectful of the home. I pick up after myself and the pets, and I follow all of the instructions that the owner leaves for me.

About: I have owned chickens, cats, parakeets, and dogs in the past. Pets are my life. My boy Kenny (a Goldendoodle), whom I recently got, I consider my son. Because of my PTA program, I'm only available during the mornings on Mon/Wed/Thu. On all other days, I have open availability to stay as long as your pets need! While I cannot take pets to my own home, I can take care of pets in other settings so long as the owner is comfortable and aware of where I am with their pet.

About: I currently have a golden retriever and he's healthy! We go on a lot of adventures together since he was a puppy such as hiking, swimming, tubing and parks! We both love the outdoors and I make sure that any animals I take care of have everything they need to be healthy and full of energy. Right now, I'm pretty flexible so I can give my utmost attention to pet care. Dogs require attention and lots of exercise and I love to put in the time every day for them. I live in an house and am always at home during the week taking care of my Golden Retriever. I also go on hikes and parks for exercise and feed him the right amount of food per day.

“Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Morning walk are always between 8:00 am to no later than 10:00 am. Afternoon walk usually between 4:00pm to 8:00pm depending on the weather. We also have extra large crate and indoor fence to separate the doggies if needed.

I have dog training knowledge, and I'm also trained in dog psychology. My goal is to work with service dogs and get them ready for their new human. I have experience working with extra large breeds as well as the cute, tiny ones. I enjoy time at home, painting, reading, cooking, gardening, playing my congas or simply relaxing in front of the television. I enjoy caring for pets as if they were my own, which means getting to know their personalities and what they like to do for fun. I have grassy areas to play and lounge out in the sun. A possible daily routine: A morning walk or let them roam the yard (depends on the owners choice), followed by breakfast and some loving. Afternoon time consists of potty breaks and some play time in the yard or indoors and some afternoon treats for everyone before they nap. I have plenty of room for your pet to run around or just lounge. I don't have any pets (as I have been fostering) or children, and there's very little to nothing that your pet could get into. My house is secured and all the windowns and doors will remain secured while your pet is visiting. My yard has a five and a half foot fence and it's secured all the way around. I have grassy areas to play and lounge out in the sun. If I'm pet sitting at your location, I will follow the list of do's and don't and will always treat your home with respect.
