Highly recommend Fatima! She is awesome! My pup is sick and had to give her different kinds of medications few specific times. Fatima not only maintained those properly but also gave me updates on time. Fatima also took Kulfi to park to play and I can tell she loved Fatima. Will definitely book her again whenever I’ll need.

Valerie was absolutely amazing and easy going. She was very patient with our hectic schedule that was pushed around due to our children. She gave many updates and pictures that was great for myself and the kids, who were distraught from seeing coco go and the pictures gave them a lot of comfort. We will definitely use again whenever we head back to Disney. This experience was much better than any pet hotel we’ve used before. Thanks so much again!

We booked Gina to watch our boys during the 3 days we were here in the LA area for business. She is so sweet and caring and the boys were very comfortable with her and her family. On the 2nd and 3rd mornings our boys were excited to see her when she came out to pick them up. She sent pics and updates each day. We would definitely book her again if we came out to this area again. Thank you Gina!!

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve owned multiple dogs and have experience caring for up to 4 dogs at once. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently work from home, so if your dog is staying with me, I’ll be home throughout the day to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. If you’re booking dog walking or drop-in visits, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to stop by reliably and ensure your pet receives the care they need. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a townhome with a fully fenced private patio. My home is equipped with exterior security cameras, as well as an indoor camera that overlooks the main living area for added peace of mind. I enjoy taking dogs on walks through my quiet neighborhood, and there’s also a large fenced park nearby for exercise and play. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that routine, and I also have a spare room available if they would benefit from having their own quiet space to relax.

About: I have 20 years of experience in dog care and can take house and yard and can also walk the dog on time. I’ve been raising dogs for a while now. It’s a joyful experience filled with playful moments and challenges. Every day, I learn something new about their behavior and needs. They bring so much happiness and companionship into my life. It’s amazing how much love and loyalty they show. 1. Feeding: • Once or twice a day depending on the animal and vet recommendations. 2. Fresh Water: • Change water at least once daily. 3. Exercise/Playtime: • Dogs need walks (15–30minutes depending on breed). 4. Grooming (as needed): • Brushing, checking for ticks/fleas, especially for long-haired animals. 5. Clean-ups: • Scoop litter boxes, clean up after walks, or spot-clean cages. Routine Care Includes: • Feeding and Watering: According to the pet’s normal schedule. • Exercise & Play: Walks for dogs, play sessions for cats or small animals. • Medication Administration: If required — pills, drops, or injections (if trained). • Litter Box or Yard Clean-Up: Scooping, changing litter, picking up after walks. • Home Care: Bringing in mail, watering plants, light tidying up, alternating lights or blinds to make the home look lived in.

About: I unfortunately do not have much experience with dogs but I am happy and willing to learn! I started working as a dog walker in another app 3 years ago so I know a little of what to expect and what things to bring with me just in case. As I mentioned, im fairly new to taking care of doggos but on the bright side, one of the things of being a college student is that im almost always home, thus, I will always be with the pet in case they need anything and I can for sure be with them all day 🥰 ( Currently I am volunteering at a hospital since I am on summer break from classes so I will be out of my house from 9-1:30pm but before and after that I am mainly home to take care of doggies. I want all owners to beware of this in my schedule in case they dont like their doggies being left alone for 4 hours or so. ( I will not be away from home more than that) Thank you for your patience and for your trust in me when taking care of your babies ❤️🥰 Im currently a full-time college student, thus, my schedule changes very often. Currently I am on summer break until late september so I am most free to take care of dogs but I did get into volunteering at a hospital monday thru friday so just beware that I will be gone from 9-1:30pm . I unfortunately do not have a fenced yard since I live in a small apartment but on the good side, It is only 3 of us who live in these apartments. So, there are no other pets in here and if I were to bring a pet, they would be comfortable since they would not be bothered by other pets! Also, I live very near a park so it would be easy to at least walk a bit and have the doggo do their business there 🥰

This was my first time ever using Rover, or really having someone outside of family watch my dogs, so I was definitely a little nervous. She knew going in that Precious is very skittish with new people and that Kona can be a little spicy and may bite if his boundaries aren’t respected, and she was still willing to give them a chance. 🥹 I really appreciated how patient and understanding she was with both of them. She took the time to let them get comfortable, took them on a walk, and made me feel like they were in good hands. I’m so glad I decided to give this a try and I’m looking forward to using her again! It honestly gives me some peace of mind knowing I may have someone I can trust with my dogs, and I’m hopeful I’ll be able to get out and travel more without always worrying about who will take care of them. 💛🐾

About: Hello, I’ve had experience with dogs from a young age. I got my first dog when I was 10 years old and cared for him until I was 25. About five years ago, I brought home my current dog as a puppy, just a few weeks old, and I’ve been raising him ever since. He’s truly like my kid. Through these years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with training, daily care, grooming, and understanding dog behavior. I’ve also learned how to handle situations like anxiety and stress, making sure he feels safe and comfortable. Having a dog has not only been a joy, but it has also taught me patience, responsibility, and the deep bond that comes from caring for animals. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. Since I already care for my own dog, I’m used to scheduling walks, feeding, grooming, and playtime around my day. I make sure to prioritize their needs by setting aside time in the morning and evening for exercise, and I stay consistent with training and routines to keep them comfortable. Taking care of pets has become second nature to me, so incorporating it into my daily life feels natural and rewarding. As a pet boarding provider, the safety and well-being of the animals in my care is my top priority. I ensure that my home is a secure environment, free from hazards such as exposed wires, toxic plants, or small objects that pets could swallow. I provide separate, comfortable spaces for each pet as needed, with access to fresh water, proper nutrition, and appropriate bedding. I maintain a clean environment by regularly sanitizing food and water bowls, litter areas, and common spaces. I supervise pets at all times to prevent conflicts and ensure that each animal receives individual attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. I also follow any specific instructions from the pet owners regarding feeding schedules, medications, or behavioral needs to ensure continuity of care. Overall, my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where pets feel at home while staying with me.

Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Mel will be out #1 Rover choice from now on!

As of August 2026, there are 8,913 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across West Puente Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your West Puente Valley commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 8,913 sitters in West Puente Valley, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
