I was super anxious as it was my first time and she was so reassuring everything would be fine and she would take great care of him. “Mel was wonderful with my pup Marshmallow this past weekend. Mel was very communicative before and during her stay! We met at a nearby park for our dogs to meet, then Mel showed me around his yard/home during our Meet & Greet. His yard was spacious enough for running around and was entirely enclosed - I had no worries of my dog accidently getting out or feeling confined. When I dropped Marshmallow off he had his dog and another dog staying separated out in the house so that they could all be introduced slowly and not get too hyper right off the bat. This allowed my pup to have a few moments of sniffing around and feel safe as I was leaving. I received multiple photos throughout the day about how she was doing and it made me feel very at ease. Mel was amazing and brought her and her stuff out to help me load back up into the car when I picked her up as well! I would highly recommend Mel if you are in the area!”

About: I unfortunately do not have much experience with dogs but I am happy and willing to learn! I started working as a dog walker in another app 3 years ago so I know a little of what to expect and what things to bring with me just in case. As I mentioned, im fairly new to taking care of doggos but on the bright side, one of the things of being a college student is that im almost always home, thus, I will always be with the pet in case they need anything and I can for sure be with them all day 🥰 ( Currently I am volunteering at a hospital since I am on summer break from classes so I will be out of my house from 9-1:30pm but before and after that I am mainly home to take care of doggies. I want all owners to beware of this in my schedule in case they dont like their doggies being left alone for 4 hours or so. ( I will not be away from home more than that) Thank you for your patience and for your trust in me when taking care of your babies ❤️🥰 Im currently a full-time college student, thus, my schedule changes very often. Currently I am on summer break until late september so I am most free to take care of dogs but I did get into volunteering at a hospital monday thru friday so just beware that I will be gone from 9-1:30pm . I unfortunately do not have a fenced yard since I live in a small apartment but on the good side, It is only 3 of us who live in these apartments. So, there are no other pets in here and if I were to bring a pet, they would be comfortable since they would not be bothered by other pets! Also, I live very near a park so it would be easy to at least walk a bit and have the doggo do their business there 🥰

About: I currently have a golden retriever and he's healthy! We go on a lot of adventures together since he was a puppy such as hiking, swimming, tubing and parks! We both love the outdoors and I make sure that any animals I take care of have everything they need to be healthy and full of energy. Right now, I'm pretty flexible so I can give my utmost attention to pet care. Dogs require attention and lots of exercise and I love to put in the time every day for them. I live in an house and am always at home during the week taking care of my Golden Retriever. I also go on hikes and parks for exercise and feed him the right amount of food per day.

“Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Because of my PTA program, I'm only available during the mornings on Mon/Wed/Thu. On all other days, I have open availability to stay as long as your pets need! While I cannot take pets to my own home, I can take care of pets in other settings so long as the owner is comfortable and aware of where I am with their pet.

At one point in my life we had four dogs living in one house, with a strict rotation on who got to use the backyard time. At the same time we had five cats that got along with everyone. I can easily crate if needed, but most guests feel right at home free-roaming under calm, watchful care.
About: I have had pet experience all my life mosty with cats but now most recently with dogs as well. I am looking forward to caring for your fur babies part and or full time. I would like this opportunity to care for your pets to become a better pet owner myself. I currently have 1 dog no cats at this time. I have also owned a cat and dog at the same time. About: I used to have a dog of my own. Having him from 9 months old, to being 9 years old. He was a very easy obedient dog to take care. I miss him so much! Since my place isn't big enough to have any dogs. I would love to take care of other people's dog or puppy. I'm currently unemployed. Putting together some ideas for new project. Just need to work to keep myself busy with Rover.com. It would fit into my schedule M-F when parents are at work or on vacation. I'm a clean and organized person. I always made sure that my dog was clean and also to potty on command. I like to make sure to give the dog attention and be playful and have training them at the same time.

“Mel was wonderful with my pup Marshmallow this past weekend. Mel was very communicative before and during her stay! We met at a nearby park for our dogs to meet, then Mel showed me around his yard/home during our Meet & Greet. His yard was spacious enough for running around and was entirely enclosed - I had no worries of my dog accidently getting out or feeling confined. When I dropped Marshmallow off he had his dog and another dog staying separated out in the house so that they could all be introduced slowly and not get too hyper right off the bat. This allowed my pup to have a few moments of sniffing around and feel safe as I was leaving. I received multiple photos throughout the day about how she was doing and it made me feel very at ease. Mel was amazing and brought her and her stuff out to help me load back up into the car when I picked her up as well! I would highly recommend Mel if you are in the area!”

About: Although I’m not certified, I’m more than happy to work with puppies through teenage dogs. I have hands-on experience teaching solid commands, patience, and fun tricks. I’ve trained my own dogs in the past—a one-year-old Husky and a Cane Corso puppy—and helped develop them into well-trained, patient, and dependable guard dogs. You’re not just getting someone to “watch your dog and make sure they eat.” If requested, I’m happy to work on training as well. Most importantly, I’m someone who genuinely loves all animals. Even though we may not know each other yet, I will treat your dog like my own—doing everything I can to keep your loved one safe, happy, and well cared for. This fits perfectly with my lifestyle because I love going out for walks/runs, and it would be great to have a little partner—or partners—join me!. I also spend time at the park so your pet would get plenty of fresh air, attention, and positive social interaction. I live in a fully fenced house and have security cameras set up—two in the front yard, two in the backyard, and a Ring camera at the door. Safety is very important to me. I live across from a preschool, and in the past I’ve occasionally allowed my dog to be calmly petted (with permission) so they could become more comfortable around children and people. I always prioritize safety and controlled interactions. This ensures I can give your pet consistent, reliable care.
“Caihua and her family were such wonderful sitters for our dog! This was our first time booking through Rover and we are so glad that we found such a wonderful sitter for our dog. Our booking was for 2 weeks (our dog is a labrador/retriever mix with hypothyroid). She sent about 15 to 20 videos each day of our dog which allowed our family to be at ease while we were on vacation knowing that our dog was having fun and well taken care of. There were about 6 to 7 dogs for our dog's stay which made it like doggy day camp every day for our dog! Caihua's backyard is very spacious and safe which allows for lots of exercise and socializing for all the dogs! We were so happy to have found Caihua and I can't recommend her enough! So grateful that we found her and will be using her again!”
