I’m home full-time, and caring for dogs is part of my daily routine from morning to night. Pups start their day with breakfast, outside time, and gentle play or walks. Throughout the day, I balance playtime, enrichment, and rest so everyone stays happy and relaxed. Evenings are calm — think cuddle time, soft music, or a cozy movie while everyone settles in. I keep each dog’s routine as close to home as possible so they feel safe and comfortable right away

Safety, trust & environment

I have a secure fenced yard, safety gates, and one friendly resident dog who was raised in a doggy daycare environment and helps new guests feel at ease. I keep my group small so each dog gets personal attention and close supervision. Dogs are matched by energy and comfort level — some love to play, others prefer to relax. I can easily crate if needed, but most guests feel right at home free-roaming under calm, watchful care.

Information Sarah W. would like to know about your pet

To give your dog the safest and most comfortable stay, I ask for full honesty about their behavior, health, and routine. This helps me match them with the right playmates and environment. Please let me know: • Is your dog fully potty trained? • Are they comfortable around other small dogs? • Do they have any anxiety triggers, reactivity, or resource guarding? • Are they used to being crated or separated briefly if needed for rest or meals? • Do they take any medications or have health issues I should monitor? I keep my group small and calm, and each guest is supervised and cared for like family. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and happier your dog’s stay will be!

A typical day

Dogs enjoy supervised yard time, enrichment games, and gentle social play at their own pace. I keep the atmosphere calm and positive, with plenty of cuddle breaks, naps, and one-on-one attention. Guests love my homemade, single-ingredient treats and occasional quail-egg toppers for an extra healthy touch. Evenings wind down with soft music or movie time, cozy blankets, and happy, tired pups ready for bed — just like home

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Sarah — a licensed, insured, Pet CPR/First Aid certified pet care professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience. I provide calm, structured, home-style care for dogs who do best in a smaller, quieter environment rather than a loud, chaotic facility. My home is set up for comfort, routine, and supervision — where dogs can relax, play, nap, and settle in naturally. I’m home full-time and keep my group intentionally small so each dog gets real attention, not just rotation-based care. Some dogs love playtime, some prefer lounging, and others just want to be near a human — I adjust to what helps each dog feel safe and comfortable. Meet & greets are required for all new dogs. I only accept dogs who are social, manageable, and able to coexist respectfully with people and other dogs. If a dog is not a good fit for my environment, I won’t move forward — safety and stability always come first. I’m experienced with puppies, adults, seniors, shy dogs, and dogs who benefit from a calmer pace. If you’re looking for personalized care in a real home with an experienced sitter — not a crowded kennel — I’d love to connect.

Sarah was excellent, she took good care of our dogs and even treated them to an Easter egg hunt since it was Easter weekend. We had a very busy weekend with twists and turns and she went with the flow of it as we needed
