About: I have a lifelong passion for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have two Huskies of my own, so I'm comfortable with high-energy breeds and understand the importance of exercise, structure, and attentive care. I also grew up with dogs throughout my life, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. In addition, worked for over a year with a dog rescue, where I cared for dogs with different temperaments and needs, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I'm dependable, patient, and committed to providing every dog with the love, attention, and care they deserve. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Each day, my dogs have routine feedings and walks. There is always plenty of fresh filtered water, exercise, playtime, and checking that they are healthy and comfortable. They also receive plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation. I believe consistency and routine are important because they help pets feel secure, healthy, and happy. Our dog care routine includes scheduled feedings to maintain a consistent diet and healthy eating habits. Walks are provided twice a day, with the duration and timing adjusted based on outdoor temperatures to ensure your dogs' safety and comfort. In addition, your dog will enjoy multiple 15-minute play sessions throughout the day, providing mental stimulation, exercise, and plenty of opportunities for fun and engagement.

At my home, I have a dedicated fenced-off area just for dogs, so they have a secure space to move around freely. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I do a full walkthrough to make sure all doors, gates, and exits are secured before letting any pup roam. About: We have lots of experience in raising and loving dogs for over 40 years with the ability to care for any age or size. We've had dogs all our married life and our most recent dog, Reba is looking for some friends to play with. We're able to cater to your dogs special diets, continue to implement your training techniques and provide that loving home while you are away. As a retired husband and wife duo our schedules are quite flexible and we spend most of our time at home with our dog Reba. Drop off anytime between 7 AM - 8 PM (please inquire for drop off outside these times for availability). A doggie door provides easy access to our fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass, a lovely patio and lots of shade to create the perfect space for your dog to lounge outside. Inside the home we're able to provide a safe space to eat and a cozy environment where dogs can lounge on the couches and escape the heat. While we don't allow dogs in our bed you're more then welcome to bring their favorite bed/blanket and we'll provide a quiet space for them to dream away. Our grandchildren visit often (ages 10 +) so kid friendly dogs are a must.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, a mixture of my own pets and those of my family and friends. Having grown up with dogs, I have constantly been around them and have grown to be comfortable with them. I am also willing to learn and adapt to take care of and meet the needs of your animal as best as possible. Every time I go to walk, play, or take care of your dogs, I will commit to showing them all the love while you are away! I have a dog of my own- a while Terrier Mix that is always full of energy! I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a ton of availability and am able to accommodate lots of walks, drop-ins, and house sittings as needed. I am also able to accept last-minute bookings! When in your home, I would love to take your doggy on walks or to the park. Anything that you already do to make your dog feel comfortable! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide regular walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention. I also clean up after pets, monitor their behavior, and make sure the home stays clean and secure. I understand every pet has different needs, so I always try to be patient, reliable, and attentive to their personality and routine.

My home is equipped with exterior security cameras, as well as an indoor camera that overlooks the main living area for added peace of mind. “Mel is an excellent dog sitter! We booked our first day care before my dog, Lucifur, was diagnosed with some limiting orthopedic issues that will soon require surgery. That means he now has to have his movement someone restricted to protect him from injury. When I gave Mel this update and asked if he would still be able to care for Lucifur, he was enthusiastic to watch him. In fact, when I arrived on the first day, Mel had thoughtfully set up a secure area for Lucifur to relax in AND had a plan to keep our dogs separated so Lucifur wouldn't get over excited and run/jump around. Mel was really thoughtful in ensuring that Lucifur had an environment that was safe and he put me at ease. Lucifur enjoys hanging out with Mel and Roxy and I feel confident that he's in great hands. Mel will be out #1 Rover choice from now on!”
