About: Pets have been a part of our family for 20 plus years. Each one has been a crucial part of our lives, teaching us how to care for one another with grace and admiration. We have raised pets from puppies and kittens all way to seniors. From walking great danes to feeding little cats, our family can care for loved ones no matter what special attention they may need. Our fenced in yard has plenty of space for playful puppies while our home is located near a beautiful bike path for lovely evening walks. Your pet will receive all the attention and support they need so you can rest assured they are safe and cared for. I am currently a stay at home dad with plenty of time to care for and play with pets. Once the kids are off to school our day will be filled with unforgettable fun and excitement here in beautiful Whittier California. Whether your dog prefers inside or outside, our home is a perfect fit. Our fenced in backyard has plenty of space for running and play. After some exercise your pet can relax on our extra large dog bed or even take their spot on our couch. If your pet just needs an afternoon walk, I have everyday experience walking dogs of all sizes. Safety and awareness are my top priorities while taking your dog on a stroll.
About: Animals have always been family in my home. I had a Terrier who I cared for throughout every stage of life into their elderly years, which gave me experience with senior dog care, patience, and understanding changing needs as dogs age. I’ve also spent a lot of time around other family dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and anxiety needs. I understand that every dog has their own temperament and comfort level, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like part of the family. Whether a dog is playful and energetic or shy and anxious, I’m patient, attentive, and focused on creating a calm environment where they can feel comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, so I am almost always home with the dogs. I absolutely love dogs and enjoy giving them attention and affection. My home is very family-oriented, and pets are treated like part of the family. I will be the primary caregiver at all times but there will be tons of love from my family as well. I have a fully enclosed fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, run around, and get fresh air. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks around Uptown or to local parks for exercise, stimulation, and fun. Since I spend most of my time at home, I am able to provide consistent care, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and a calm, loving environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for. I provide loving, attentive care for pets both in my home and in my clients’ homes. Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family and have a safe, comfortable environment with access to our fully enclosed fenced backyard for exercise and outdoor time. I make sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and cared for based on their individual personality and needs. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, dog sitting, and boarding. About: I've been a dedicated dog owner since 2020 and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I currently care for my own friendly Maltipoo and have regularly watched dogs for friends and family over the years. My experience includes caring for dogs with separation anxiety, maintaining feeding and walking routines, and administering medications when they can be given through treats or pill pockets. Because every dog has a different personality and comfort level, I take the time to learn their routines and preferences so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, long walks, or simply relaxing with company throughout the day, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. I work remotely and spend most weekdays at home, allowing me to provide consistent supervision and companionship throughout the day. I'm also available most weekends and can accommodate a variety of schedules. Because I work from home, I'm able to check on pets frequently and provide regular potty breaks, exercise, feeding, and attention. This setup works especially well for dogs that enjoy companionship or may experience mild separation anxiety when left alone for extended periods. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a single-family home with a fully fenced yard, providing a secure environment for supervised outdoor time and play. Before each booking, I like to learn about your pet's routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so I can provide individualized care. I am comfortable caring for senior dogs, administering medications through treats or pill pockets when appropriate, and following detailed care instructions. I know how reassuring updates can be while you're away, so I provide regular communication and photos throughout each stay. As a dog owner myself, I understand that pets are family members, and I strive to care for every dog as if they were my own.

“First time using Rover and we were very nervous about it. Savannah listened to all are concerns and kept us updated throughout the day. Our pups left her home very happy and relaxed.”

“Sarai was really nice and welcoming. She took care of my 15 year old baby while I was at work, when I arrived to pick him up I had a pleasant surprise because he looked so happy and relaxed. I think he was also happy that he made friends. :)”

“My fiance and I were so happy with how well our 2 year old Belgian Malinois rescue, Ren, did with Jennell. She is a very timid dog so we were a bit nervous having to leave her. But after dropping Ren off, within minutes we were already seeing Jennell post updates and it made us feel soooo much better. Ren adores Jennell and we will definitely be back again whenever we need day care for her!”

We were traveling from out of town and needed a Dogsitter for our little baby Diego and were grateful to find Crisabel and Steve. Diego immediately felt right at home and it was a huge relief for us. We only wish Crisabel lived in our town because theirs would be Diego’s second home. He also loved Billie Jean, their Boston Terrier. Definitely made it more fun for him.

Adriana was genuinely amazing with my dog! She was so sweet, very patient, and super accommodating with my timing, which helped me so much. She kept Potata well-fed, walked, and comfortable, and she updated me throughout the day with messages and photos. I could really tell she cared about him, and he looked so happy with her. I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. I highly recommend her truly such a great sitter!!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
