About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. I am a teacher, so I am free during school breaks and on weekends. When I am not working full-time at school, pet care will be my first priority. I will listen to any requests made by the pet owner for what they want me to do, such as letting them out in a fenced backyard or keeping them on a leash. I also have experience crate training my dog and find that can be a safe place for dogs too.

About: I have grown up with different dogs my entire life. My best friend was a Rottweiler named Sampson and I had him from a pup. I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. I have cared my many fur babies in this own homes, keeping them happy with conversation, brushing, play time and long walks. I feel that all breeds deserve love regardless of the negativity they may get from others who don't understand the breed. I have owned pitbulls and have found them to be loyal and loving and don't judge any animal. I have experience training my own dogs as well as freinds and family. I'm currently working PT as a home health aid and have flexibility and free time Tuesday through Saturday to walk and hangout with your beloved fur baby. I would come to your home and watch your dog, take them for a walk, snuggle, feed, play, brush and engage them with conversation and provide them love and support.

About: I have care for dogs and cats in the Port Jefferson community and surrounding areas since my teenage years. I try to be flexible to meet your needs and I have taken care of four legged friends big and small. Your special friend will be well take care of while you are away. I have varying hours during the summer so I can especially make things work if given times in advance. I am timely and available for whatever you may need. I am willing to travel. I cannot imagine my life without any of my furbabies that I’ve had the honor of loving and caring for along the way. Both my dog, Champ and my cat, Shea currently have my heart. They are the absolute best of friends. I’m inseparable from my dog. He is an Akita-Husky mix who recently just celebrated his 12th birthday. When I’m not at work teaching, I’m usually bringing him on adventures. About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. Today, my wife and I are proud pet parents to two black cats. In addition to caring for cats, I have experience watching a toy poodle puppy under one year old. My responsibilities have included taking her outside for regular bathroom breaks, supervising walks, engaging her in play and exercise, teaching basic tricks and commands, reinforcing good behavior, and helping her work through separation anxiety. Caring for a young puppy taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, patience, and attentiveness to a pet's individual needs. Whether caring for cats or dogs, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I strive to give each pet the same level of attention and affection that I would want for my own. i work part time in the mornings and am available most days after 1pm. I am a doctoral student at Stony Brook University, so I am flexible to watch your pup or kitty any time in the afternoons/evenings. If needed, I can do an early morning stop by at 6:30AM prior to heading to work. in my clients home, I will be respectful of property, taking off shoes before entering the house, cleaning up any messes that the animal/myself may create, ensuring the animal has food, water, litter box, toys, etc. accessible, and to lock up the house, windows, and any gates prior to leaving the home. I will always accommodate the clients requests. In my home, I have multiple floors to separate my animals from the animal(s) coming into my home. I also have a fully fenced in, large backyard for a dog to run around in. We have a home security system as well to ensure safety.

About: Your dog will become part of our family while staying in our home. Playing in our large fenced yard, snuggles on the sofa, trips to the beach or local Avalon Park trails for long walks! When your dog comes to my house, he/she will become part of our family during their stay. I will follow your instructions, schedule, and routine for your dog while they are with us. Your dog will receive lots of exercise, attention and love. My husband and I are both home full time so your dog will never be alone for more than a couple hours. I have a huge fenced yard for playing. We are located in the beautiful Historic Village of Stony Brook and love walking the dogs to the beach and also Avalon Park trails. We do have an indoor/outdoor cat so your dog must be able to coexist with the cat but they can easily be kept separate. I have many excellent references to share with you, including clients from the Guide Dog Foundation and rescue organizations that I have fostered for. You can set up a free meet and greet at my house. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I am home full time so your pup will have constant attention! Your pup will have lots of exercise, play time and of course lots of snuggles. I have a fenced yard and supervise your pup at all times. I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pup! If I am not home, my husband or one of my teenage sons will be home so your dog will rarely be left alone. I have a large fenced yard for playing and we will walk in our beautiful neighborhood if that’s part of your dog’s routine. Your dog will be supervised at all times and will have lots of attention!

About: Aside from caring for my own cats, I have extensive experience handling and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I am a certified dog trainer and have worked at vets and pet stores in the past and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes! I am super excited to care for your pup/cat and help you relax knowing your baby is in the best hands! I have had dogs of my own, babysat overnight and during the day as well. I have also looked after family friends’ horses, hamsters, and birds. I am planning to go back to school to earn a degree in Zoology/Animal Behavior in the future. About: I absolutely love animals!! I had a Schnauzer named Loki years ago. I decided I wouldn’t have another puppy, but I’ve been having a blast watching other people’s dogs. It’s kind of like a fun uncle type of situation I’ve been thriving on lately. I have tons of experience watching and handling animals. Since my youth, I’ve been in love with nature. I even became an Eagle Scout! I’m passionate about animals and all life in general. I even thought about becoming a vegan, but that’s another topic of discussion… I’m a yoga instructor, so my schedule is very flexible. My free time is spent running, exercising, and studying.
