About: Hi! I'm Janis—a nursing student with a love for animals! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. Since I am a nursing student, I have varying availability, but I am extremely transparent with pet owners about scheduling and try to update my calendar regularly. I would perform pet care after my classes and on weekends. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. For drop-ins, I will always ask questions beforehand to ensure I fully understand you pets needs and can give them the best care.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets are so precious, they’re such an important source of joy in their family’s lives so it’s such a privilege to be trusted with their care!! :) Pet sitting is currently my full time job, so I have lots of time to give your animals the special care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around in. I also have a car so I’m able to take dogs to the dog park or dog beaches nearby (if that’s something they would enjoy). At a client’s house I still follow any guidance/schedule given to me. In between I typically take the dog’s lead. I’m at their house so it’s important to me that I respect their space (and the clients above all)! I like to take their cues to make sure that their sense of routine isn’t disrupted.

About: I've had ample experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. My experience includes working as a vet assistant at a clinic for cats. I also have experience giving medication to pets (one of my own cats requires daily shots). I am in school part time, so I have lots of availability. I can watch your pets overnight on weekends, and at flexible times during the week. I am not able to board any animals at my home, but I can and will make sure that your home environment is a safe and loving place while your pets are in my care.

About: I am passionate about having happy pets and Pet Parents. I would treat each dog as if they were my own. My two fur babies include two ShihZu/terrior mixes Rugby and Veuve. Having my own dogs helps me understand on a personal level the type of care each pet parent would want for their family member. About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. I am a teacher, so I am free during school breaks and on weekends. When I am not working full-time at school, pet care will be my first priority. I will listen to any requests made by the pet owner for what they want me to do, such as letting them out in a fenced backyard or keeping them on a leash. I also have experience crate training my dog and find that can be a safe place for dogs too.

I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. About: For the majority of my life, I have always had a dog in my possession! So I have always known how far my love and care for animals goes. I have watched my family’s dogs when they went on vacation and I’ve also walked a couple of dogs in my neighborhood. Now, my love and care for animals goes beyond measure. They are family, and should be treated as such! Which is why I plan on making sure I would treat your pets the same way you would if you were there! I will always plan to go above and beyond for your pets. I am not someone who does the bare minimum when it comes to taking care of animals. I love what I do and I have the passion for it. So I plan to do whatever I can to make sure that your pets are treated with the amount of love and care they deserve. I currently have 2 jobs, so I would just have to work with my schedule on what I can do! But it is something I am more than happy to do! Due to my living situation, I am unable to dog sit at my house. However, I would be able to find ways of travel to your home. I would make sure I was there with them for as long as you need, if not more! Plus I wouldn’t mind help getting a couple house things done while there if you needed.
