About: i’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. I helped my mom out every day with our two dogs that I have in my house and I help my grandpa out with his dog as well. I used to have 100-140 pound Pitbull‘s so I am able to work with big dogs as well. One of my dogs at home is blind, so I do take extra care of him and I am able to work with dogs that need a little extra care I am currently attending college at stony brook university. I am looking for a job to keep me busy but manageable with classes. I am also missing my dogs back at home so I would love to be able to tend to other peoples dogs!! I am available every day of the week, the hours do differ each day depending on my classes that day! I have 2 dogs at home. One of them is blind so i do have to take extra care of him. I take my dogs on daily walks/runs. I also pet sit for my families and friends. My other do at home is very hyper and needs a lot of exercise and I tend to be the one in my family who takes her out and plays with her.
About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
