We all were going on an international trip of ~10 days and we were worried since this was the first time we using someone’s services to stay at home and take care of Scott. Punctuality is Melissa’s virtue and Scott was absolutely comfortable with her. About: A dog lover my whole life, I have years of being relied upon to look after pets for friends and family. I have a senior samoyed pup (the one in my profile picture) and so I have experience with senior dogs as well as bigger/wolf/vocal dog breeds. I have recently moved back to Long Island from England, where I was a high school Math teacher for 8 years. I am currently not working as I look for employment. This also means I am DBS (background) checked. My partner Trent is also a dog lover and lifelong dog owner (most recently of a beautiful staffy girl), and he may help me out from time to time if needed. We have looked after dogs of all sorts of breeds, from dachshunds and frenchies to doodles and chowskis. We have puppy experience and a limited amount of training experience. I love taking pups for walks and am happy to walk for whatever length of time your pup most prefers! Plus, I’d be thrilled to take pics of your pup to send to you during the day 📸🐶 As I’m not working currently, I have as much time as needed to dedicate to your pup. I can travel at any preferred time for walks or in-home dog sitting. If coming to your home, you can rest assured that I am a reliable and trustworthy person who is background (DBS) checked from my time as a teacher. I will be respectful of your space and follow all rules/requests. For dog-walking services I am happy to travel to you and walk you and your pup’s preferred route.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10, I have had over 8 different types of animals growing up. I am a vet assistant, which means I have hands on knowledge about cats and dogs which makes me have a very observant eye. I have done all kinds of animal jobs with mostly dogs, cats and horses from over nights, to walking, and daily check ins. My current job is seasonal so I have extra time to work helping others with their animals anf always find time to help. With my many years of experince and love of helping people with their fur babies I can be very felxable and understanding! Knowing how much your pets feel safe in their own home, I know keeping their routine as close to what they know is key to keeping them healthy and happy, and I want to make sure they can get the same love, care, and attention from me to make them always feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have pet sit other dogs prior but the one dog that sticks out is my sister’s black lab. Shakira was a black lab mutt with an auto immune disease. She needed twice daily medication and to be taken out side frequently. I work nights as a custodian for a school district ! So I’m available early to mid mornings for walks or house sitting over the weekends. As I have a cat, my number one priority for him is always making sure the doors are shut. He’s an indoor kitty and I ensure that it stays that way. Always guaranteed to have food and water and a clean litter box.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, I sleep with four every night. I don’t think you’ll find someone more loving than me, I work with my mom for a non profit I am currently a Vet Tech student in a local college. I am off on weekends and I can work around my hours during the week to care for all animals. The dogs I have come in contact with have always been affectionate and loving toward me. I helped raise a dog that my mom rescued before she adopted me. The dog had fear aggression which I helped the dog work through. If it were my home I have a fully fenced backyard with four fur balls that would love your dog as much as I will. I can crate if necessary and even separate the dogs in my home.

About: I have taken care of pets for years, ever since my sister and I adopted a stray beagle when we were kids, and helped its owner find it months later. Fast forward to now, I have had experience taking care of a variety of animals. I currently am not a pet owner now, but I am enthusiastic about taking care of animals and would love to be trusted with sitting your pet like my own. I am a graduate student, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can accommodate people’s 9-5 work schedules and I own a car in case of emergencies. I also am often free during weekends and holidays. I have a fenced yard and live in a calm, peaceful neighborhood. I do live in a basement apartment, but I keep my living space well-lit and ventilated.
