House Sitting in East Setauket

About: I've been a pet owner since I was a child (dogs, rabbits, hamsters, birds, and even fish). I've grown up with large breed dogs, small breed dogs, and everything in between. Dogs have been considered family for my entire life, and I started dog sitting after losing my fur baby (a Pug, aged 17) in 2016. Although I no longer board dogs in my home (I now have 2 PitWeenie rescue dogs, Lilo & Stitch), I happily dog sit in your home, and I enjoy providing drop in visits, as well as dog walking! I currently work full-time, but I am able to house sit whilst dog sitting in a client's home from Friday nights until Monday morning! If your dogs are able to hang out during the day without their humans, I can house/dog sit evenings after work. Fur babies are family members, and it's up to me to make sure your family members maintain their same daily schedule they are used to. If you tell me they love to eat their meals with a human sitting on the floor with them, that's what I'll do. If they are used to sleeping in bed with their humans, they get to sleep in bed with this human, too! My goal: make your dog feel as is nothing has changed, other than the human, in their home.

Sharon came over to our home twice before we left to meet our animals and to go over all of the details. I was a little nervous about leaving our furbabies but let me tell you, I was so comfortable with Sharon taking care of them knowing they were in loving hands. Sharon sent me photos and updates of them every day and exceeded all expectations. I will forever use Sharon to watch our babies, they absolutely loved her!!! My skiddish scared cat even came out to greet her which never happens with anyone. Sharon is such a sweet, respectful person and I could not recommend Her enough. ❤️”

About: I’ve had three dogs of different breeds in my house for 10+ years and love any type of animal. My mom and I just got a puppy as well and I am confident with both young and senior dog care. I’ve had experiences with pet sitting before and will do anything to ensure your pet is in the best hands. I am home from college and do not have a set routine. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am willing to mold my days around the proper pet care! All pets are different and require different care. I will do my best to make sure they are comfortable and depending on their energy levels, shyness, other needs, I will plan accordingly.
