About: I was raised with dogs from the time I was born, and our home was always full of animals — be it bunnies, turtles, hamsters or parrots! I’m now a proud pet mom to two cats, Tortellini and Simone, and one pup, Frankie. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, patient, and attentive to care for your pets while you’re away. My pup, Frankie, is always happy to make new furry friends, and I love making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet needs feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, medication reminders, or just extra love and companionship, I’ll treat them like part of my own family. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I’m a researcher who works from home, so my schedule is flexible throughout the week. I’m available for weekday care, weekends, drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays. Since I spend a lot of time at home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I currently offer care in my client’s home, where pets can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment. I’m very respectful of each home and each pet’s routine, and I’m happy to follow detailed instructions for feeding, walks, litter box care, playtime, medications, and any special needs. I’m also comfortable managing different household setups, including keeping pets separated when needed, handling multi-pet homes, monitoring doors/gates carefully, and making sure each pet feels safe, calm, and cared for.

About: I used to walk dogs and dog sit in the past. I have my own dog and I have a family member who does boarding. I am constantly around all different types of dogs and I know how to handle each dog’s personality. I am currently in school and was looking for a job that would be flexible and thought this would be a great because I have done it in the past and loved it and I can work around my schedule. When dog walking I would usually meet the client and the dog first just to go over what they would like me to do like we’re the leash or treats is located, how long they want the walks and what the personality of the dog is like.

About: I have been around dogs for most of my life. I have also volunteered at one of the largest assistance dog organizations for more than 13 years. I typically handle between 20-30 dogs of multiple breeds every week. My responsibilities include socialization, light grooming, and free run with playtime. I'm currently training in transportation and first aid I will provide a safe, fun, and playful environment for you Cherished Canine. My horrendous personal experience with pet sitting has alerted me to the pitfalls of in-home pet care.

About: I had a cat when I was young which I took care of. Along with the cat, I’ve had various beta fish each living beyond expected life spans. When I was 17-19, I took care of my neighbor’s cat while they were on vacation. I’ve also helped take care of my grandmother’s dog for the past 5 years. I take her for walks and play with her. For the past few months, I’ve been volunteering at an animal shelter where my job is to clean the cat rooms and walk the dogs there. I’m currently a full time college student, but I will be available for breaks and over the summer. During breaks, I’m available anytime during the week depending on what days I’m home. During the summer, I have more open availability with any day being free depending on my internship. I’m very gentile whenever I work with animals, especially pets. I make sure an animal feels comfortable around me before getting them to do something. I build trust in the animal so that I can get them into a crate easily.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. Today, my wife and I are proud pet parents to two black cats. In addition to caring for cats, I have experience watching a toy poodle puppy under one year old. My responsibilities have included taking her outside for regular bathroom breaks, supervising walks, engaging her in play and exercise, teaching basic tricks and commands, reinforcing good behavior, and helping her work through separation anxiety. Caring for a young puppy taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, patience, and attentiveness to a pet's individual needs. I am a doctoral student at Stony Brook University, so I am flexible to watch your pup or kitty any time in the afternoons/evenings. If needed, I can do an early morning stop by at 6:30AM prior to heading to work. in my clients home, I will be respectful of property, taking off shoes before entering the house, cleaning up any messes that the animal/myself may create, ensuring the animal has food, water, litter box, toys, etc. accessible, and to lock up the house, windows, and any gates prior to leaving the home. I will always accommodate the clients requests. In my home, I have multiple floors to separate my animals from the animal(s) coming into my home. I also have a fully fenced in, large backyard for a dog to run around in. We have a home security system as well to ensure safety.
