About: I am a lifelong dog owner wth personal experience raising puppies, caring for adopted senior dogs, and supporting pets with various health conditions. I have been pet sitting for over a decade and have two years of managerial experience in a professional dog daycare and boarding facility. I am Pet First Aid & CPR Certified and hold two levels of professional pet boarding certification through the Professional Pet Boarding Association. I also have additional experience in animal care and wildlife rehabilitation. If I don't have an overnight sitting, I come home throughout the day to take my dogs out and give my chickens some late-day time to forage. If I'm unable to make it home in the evening, my partner happily steps in to care for our furry family members. My days are joyfully filled with animals! I take pride in bringing the same patience, compassion, and attentiveness to caring for other people's pets as I do my own. About: I have always LOVED dogs of all sizes & breeds. I used Rover back in 2018 for some time but unfortunately my life got too busy to give the dogs all the attention they need and deserve. As I have a lot of extra time right now, I have decided to return to Rover and I’m excited to make some new furry friends. Dogs seem to be naturally comfortable & relaxed with me, as I with them. During high school & college, I did a lot of dog sitting. I genuinely enjoyed the "work" (it was more fun than work) and bonded with each and every one of these dogs. I usually stayed at my clients' homes while they were away. Sometimes for just a weekend, other times up to 2 weeks or more. I have dog sat and walked for numerous types of breeds including Pit bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Standard Poodles, Chihuahuas, French Bulldogs, Kerry Blue Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Welsh Corgi, Shih Tzus, Mixed breeds, and many more! While most of my clients were healthy, I have also dog sat for dogs with medical issues that require medications (including injections and seizure, medications) and/or special needs. Dogs bring so much joy to our lives and are a part of our families. I understand how stressful and upsetting it can be when you have to leave a loved-one home when you have to travel or even just leave for a few hours for work. It is very important to find someone you can trust that will love and care for your dog just as you do!
