About: I have 2.5 years of experience working as a veterinarian assistant for a family-owned and operated animal hospital. Aspects of my job include restraining, handling, medicating, feeding, grooming, bathing, and caring for any pets who may board with us at the hospital. I have comfortably handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, needs, and temperaments, and I am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all life stages. My schedule is extremely flexible and I am never away from home for more than four hours any day of the week, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, playtime, and feedings. I have a fully enclosed, insulated, temperature controlled, spacious gazebo on my property surrounded by a pet-proof fenced-in playpen. The inside is divided into four sections, so I can board up to four dogs no bigger than 40lbs at one time, and each pet will have his or her own space indoors for eating and sleeping. Outside, the pets will be able to interact and play, and they will always be supervised.

About: I love cats (but cannot have one due to spouse's allergies)! For the last 5 years, friends have trusted me to watch their cats, feed them and play with them. I've even taken care of a blind cat. As with dogs, I know all cats are different, and I follow all rules provided to me.
About: My background in cat care began in The League for Animal Protection of Huntington, NY in 2007. I volunteered there as an animal care associate, working with a variety of kittens and cats from many different walks of life. All of the cats were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with socialization, feeding, and even medication distribution. In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house- and cat-sitting job. After that, I entered the full-time workforce and adopted my first cat and love of my life Avery. Avery has since passed, but my home is now occupied by his feline brothers (in spirit): Handsome and Bubbles. They bring me more joy than I could ever imagine! I've always had a soft spot for cats, and find them to be such a delight, whether they're the affectionate type or even more aloof. “From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. About: I have been watching and taking care of friends/family dogs for years and have raised my own since he was a 8 weeks old. I can clip nails, bath give ear/eye treatments if ever needed. I work remotely from home for the most part and would only accept to care if I am home that day. I have a 30 lb Klee Kai mix at home who would accompany your pet on walks/play time and naps. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. She is also happy (and trained) to give your dog space if that is the pup’s preference - I have enough space in my home that dogs can relax separately from one another if they prefer that. 🐕 No need to bring your dog’s bed, we have plenty! The couch is all theirs too! I can also gate off rooms and/or crate your dog at any time if that is what you or your dog needs or prefers. 🐕 A safe environment for your dog is maintained here at all times and is of the utmost importance‼️: —dogs are never left unsupervised —my home is free of choking hazards —play with toys & with other dogs is always carefully monitored —I do not keep any items in the home that are dangerous for a dog to ingest (xylitol, poisonous plants, etc.)

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets are so precious, they’re such an important source of joy in their family’s lives so it’s such a privilege to be trusted with their care!! :) Pet sitting is currently my full time job, so I have lots of time to give your animals the special care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around in. I also have a car so I’m able to take dogs to the dog park or dog beaches nearby (if that’s something they would enjoy). At a client’s house I still follow any guidance/schedule given to me. In between I typically take the dog’s lead. I’m at their house so it’s important to me that I respect their space (and the clients above all)! I like to take their cues to make sure that their sense of routine isn’t disrupted.

I have a pretty open schedule so I have a lot of availability to keep care for the dogs. I have lots of flexibility with my schedule. Keeping engagement with the dogs is important. Playing or even just keeping company. I also have a very sweet dog that loves meeting other dogs and people.
About: My background in canine care began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there for several years as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. After working at the shelter, I found myself at a few local grooming parlors, working as a bather. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently and give them lots of reassurance and loving. Patience goes a long way! In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy much time with canine companions. I will regularly pet sit for close friends and family, but I'm ready to spend more time around furry friends! I'd love to meet you and your pup and ensure that they're properly taken care of and loved while you're out on the weekend, working, or away on vacation! I'm currently working part-time, with a very flexible schedule, so there's a good chance I'll be able to accommodate your scheduling needs! Reach out to me with any questions. About: As a graduate student pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy, I am responsible, attentive, and highly dependable. I have been around dogs my whole life especially Rotties and Labs!:) Being a graduate student, my schedule is very consistent and predictable. I will be working M/W: 12pm- 8pm T/TH: 7am- 3pm Friday: 10am - 6pm If I’m not at work I’m with your pup! I will usually have a break throughout the day that allows me to come home or stop by for potty breaks, walks, feeding, and check ins as needed. My parents are also home so your pup will never be left alone for more than a couple minutes! Someone is usually always home. On weekends I am always around which allows me to spend the morning, afternoon and evening providing attentive care, exercise, playtime, and companionship. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and maintain their normal routine. At my home, pets have access to a fully fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play. I provide regular walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention based on each pet's individual needs. I live very close to my campus which gives me access to get home as quickly as 2 minutes for just incase purposes
