About: I learned dog/cat care from my grandmother. She taught me her special side of respecting and caring the animals no matter what kind. I have had a dog for 14 years of my life, his name was Panda. I am very excited to board dogs in my home and give them a healthy and playful environment. I am also excited to take them on long walks. I volunteered at Aurora Animal Shelter for 2 years and learnt to give behavioural training for kittens/cats. I fostered more than 6 cats apart from my own 2 cats for the past 1 year. I currently work 3 days a week from office, and my husband works remote. He is an animal lover too and loves to spend time with my cats at home. I spend time with my cats early morning and late night when they are fully active and excited to play. I take them on a walk (on leash) once a week. They enjoy some time out of home. Rest assured that you will find at my house a safe, warm and loving environment with a care giver of over 40 years. I care for dogs of all sizes and have cared for many cats. Your animals are free to explore my house, my fenced in back yard and rest comfy on couch. I live across the street from a park for frequent walks. When you are away, you will be updated throughout the day with notes, stories and photos, and you are always welcome to call any time during your time away. I will follow your instructions as each animal is unique and needs special attention. A little about me: I am a retired preschool special needs teacher. I still teach children's choir, music and arts part time. I walk and care for dogs and cats, and I love baking. My family: I have two dogs (Sophi and Winnie) both under 11 lbs. who are very gentle, peaceful, and welcoming to our boarders. I also have two cats who are secluded during boarding, unless your dogs are great with cats. Sophi is older and keeps mostly to herself, and Winnie is playful. I also have two roommates who cannot move in if they are not animal lovers and understand the rules to keep them all safe. About my place: I have a high fenced yard for outside time, with a doggie door so they can come in at their pleasure. I also live accross the street from Matin Park for frequent walks. I feed your animals on your schedue privately, and water is always available. I would love to set up a meet and greet with you if you are interested. This is important whenever possible to make sure the animals are ok with each other and that you feel at ease before the day of drop off. Please contact me if you have any questions. I am at home most of the day every day. I am never away more than a couple of hours to run to the store,or to teach my choir. You will know the schedule when we talk. I will care for your pet as you direct, giving love, attention, play time, walks and a peaceful place to sleep. If I go to your house for drop in, I will follow your instructions.
