About: At Crate Escape, safety is our top priority. We maintain a secure, clean, and well-supervised environment where every dog is monitored by experienced staff. All dogs undergo a temperament trial before joining group play to ensure compatibility and minimize stress. Playgroups are carefully matched by size, temperament, and energy level, with continuous supervision to prevent overstimulation or conflict. Our facilities are equipped with secure fencing, climate control, and sanitized daily using pet-safe disinfectants. We also follow strict vaccination requirements and emergency protocols to ensure every dog in our care is safe, healthy, and happy.

“Jennifer and Darren are both wonderful. She even made homemade treats for a friend and shared them with Kingsley, sent him some for home and he loved them! Thanks for being flexible as well, I was running late for pick-up and she was super kind about it.”

“She took great care of my Amelia with lots of pics and videos and walks and spoiling. She looked like she was having a blast so I wasn't worried about her in the least! I definitely recommend Tiffany for overnights (and everything else but overnights is what I booked her for).”

About: I’ve taken care of and trained many puppies/dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 6 years old and am now a pup parent to my own 4 month old mini dachshund. I’ve had terriers, Rottweilers, goldens, Dalmatians, dachshunds etc. and know the kind of specific care and love needed for each breed. These babies have their own little souls and I’d love to help out any loving pet parents and reduce any stress or fear you may have when leaving them in the care of someone else. I’m super active on my phone and work from home so am available on demand and ready with pictures and updates for peace of mind. Looking forward to working together soon and meeting you furry family members! I work from home and have my own puppy so I’m available almost 24/7 for walks and potty time before, after, and during work hours and on weekends. I live in a high end apartment with lots of doggy amenities including many green spaces and fenced play areas for lots of potty breaks and long walks. I have my own small friendly pup who can keep yours company and tire them out as well as have crates and gates available, lots of toys, and ramps for the smaller dogs to save their backs!

“Brendan was amazing with my dog, Birdie! This was Birdie’s very first time at doggy daycare, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for her. Brendan was incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating from the start—he immediately put both me and Birdie at ease. He was so communicative throughout the day, sending updates and photos that made me feel totally comfortable and reassured. It’s always hard leaving your pup with someone new, but Brendan made it easy. I felt like Birdie was in such loving, capable hands. Highly recommend!”

“Maryna and John are so wonderful! They asked all the right questions when getting to know my nervous dog on his first day, and took such good care of him. Ollie will be so happy to visit them again. Thank you!!”

“Christina is wonderful! She is lovely work with and takes care of my dog so well. Luna is always so happy and excited to spend time with Christina. I am lucky to have found her!”

About: Ever since I can remember, animals have been a huge part of my life. I can’t imagine a world without them, and I find joy in caring for and spending time with them. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, from puppies and kittens to elderly pets needing extra attention. I’m a very detail oriented person and attentive to each animal’s unique behaviors and needs. You can count on me to make sure your dog gets the care, love and companionship they need. I’m also experienced with dogs that are reactive to other dogs or strangers. I’ve walked dogs using harnesses, spent time with dogs who love to swim or go on car rides, and adapted to many different personalities and routines. I’d love to include more furry friends in my schedule! My dog is my everything. She was 14 and recently passed away. I did everything in my power to ensure she remained happy and comfortable towards the end of her life. From adjusting her routine and diet, administering medication, coordinating vet visits, and giving lots of cuddles and love. I’m currently in between jobs, so my schedule is flexible! I am an active person who loves to go on walks when weather permits and can adjust my schedule to suit you and your pups needs. We live in quiet, dog friendly neighborhood in a house with a backyard that is fenced in. I love spending time outdoors and going on walks. We also live close to 3 walkable beaches.

“Karroll was amazing!!! She was able to look after Azula without 24 hours notice and she was so kind to both me and my pup. The commute over to her home was gnarly (Boston traffic is misery), but every minute was worth it knowing that my pup was in such caring hands. Thank you so much! 🤍🐾”

“Sonny had a great time spending the day with Kayla and Summer! Kayla was great at communicating with us quickly and was super accommodating for meeting up. Sonny can be a shy dog when meeting dogs larger than him, but he had no problem joining them in their house. Through all the pictures Kayla sent, it seemed like he made himself right at home with Summer! He came home happy and well taken care of. We definitely would recommend Kayla to anyone looking for daycare and we look forward to booking with Kayla again!”

“Chloe is so amazing and accommodating! Last minute I couldn’t pick up my dog due to work circumstances, and she offered to keep him overnight with no issue(: My dog loved her and I will definitely use her services again!”

Crate Escape - CharlestownLocal facility
“Crate Escape is amazing! I have three dogs who all attend and absolutely love it. My dog Skye goes to the High Spirited Hounds program and has a blast. Skye is an amazing dog who has some behavioral concerns so regular day care wasn’t a good fit for her. I’m so grateful that High Spirited Hounds is a perfect fit. She is able to go, get enrichment and training. She comes home tired at the end of the day, happy, and with better manners. I couldn’t be happier with the program. My other two dogs Pilot and Twix go to Crate Escape’s daycare and also absolutely love it! They have so much fun and are so excited to go in the morning. It’s so clear that the staff truly care about Pilot, Twix, and Skye, and keep them safe and happy during the day. I couldn’t be more grateful for Crate Escape and how much my dogs love it there, and I would recommend Crate Escape highly to anyone looking for a program for their dog.”

Gillian R.
“Gillian is an extreme animal lover. Her entire life has loved horses, dogs, cats, any animal you can think of, she even had 11 toads at one point. Additionally she has recently gotten a dog, a small doxin believe is the breed and in the 21 years I've known her I don't think I've ever seen a person have more maternal instincts over a dog. She recently came to visit me for a weekend and left her dog with her boyfriend and needed constant updates on training, cute pictures and even had facetime calls to see the dog. I honestly don't think there is anything she wouldn't do for her new puppy. Personally seeing how she treats her own dog and her relationship with animals in the past there isn't anyone I would trust more to take care of a furry family member.”

Aline S.
“Aline is my sister and she has cared for our home pet for 14 years. Our teacup yorkshire terrier has baths and haircuts by Aline’s skill set as she is the primary care taker for our family dog. She has daily walks with Daisy and feeds her twice a day. Daisy has walks and takes strolls in her carriage or shopping carts on Errands days. Daisy takes strolls in the neighborhoods, weekend trips on hikes and at the beach. Daisy has fun playing fetch and running after long pong and tennis balls.”
East Boston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ana was really great with our very anxious 13 year old pug-daschund mix, Honey. We have never left honey with a sitter before and the first time couldn't have been better. Ana managed honeys anxiety issues with utmost care and professionalism. Will definitely look forward to utlizing her services in the future.

Caitlin is fantastic! She took such great care of our goldendoodle, Sadie and sent lots of pictures and updates. We were able to relax knowing Sadie was having fun and in safe hands! She was very flexible and easy to communicate with. We will definitely reach out to Caitlin in the future!

We had a wonderful experience with Nicky for our date night! She was so easy to communicate with from the start She really knows and loves dogs - it gave us such peace of mind knowing our pup was in great hands. Will definitely be reaching out to her again for future services.

Cat and her dog George were very welcoming. Ella my dog who usually has separation anxiety was charmed from the moment they opened the door and felt so at ease that she didn’t cry at all! Cat sent multiple pictures and details about potty breaks and walks. This was a last minute request so Cat absolutely saved me!

Rosie had a great stay. Denisa was very good with Rosie. I was concerned leaving my little senior buddy with a new person who she had never met, but Denisa put me at ease right away. She provided excellent communication, reliably followed care instructions, and sent sweet photos. I would not hesitate to have Rosie stay with her again in the future.

Vish and AJ are AMAZING! I felt so confident leaving my dog with them. I received updates and pictures and was able to focus on my work instead of worrying. They played with him, brushed him, and took him for walks. They could not have been better to him. Vish and AJ are clearly dog lovers and I would recommend them 10/10!
