About: I’ve had my knee replaced which has slowed me down a tad but also allows me be to home all the time. We recently lost our old boy (dog of 12 years) and while my cats have helped me to survive, I have so much more love to give! For now I want to spend time with others’ dogs to help fill the whole in my heart. I genuinely want to make every animal a friend of mine! I will always lead with love, care and respect. I work from home already which is usually stuff I take care of in the evenings anyway but I have the time, love and space to accommodate your furry family members. We have three lovable indoor cats. Two will stay away mostly and one will greet you at the door with friendly meows. We will spend the whole time snuggling on the couch or running around in our yard.
“Kelly was absolutely amazing!!! Constant communication and lots of pictures. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Will definitely book with her again if needed.”

“I loved the feedback and pictures that Amy sent on her visits! She came and spent time with the cats on every visit. The cats seemed very happy with the care and attention that they received.”

About: With years of experience caring for dogs, I stand out as a pet sitter due to my ability to also look after my clients’ plants/garden from time-to-time. My lifelong passion for animals includes providing special care for young and senior dogs, ensuring their health and happiness. My current schedule varies, but I typically work 7-hour shifts on Sundays and Mondays. On the these dates, I can manage pet care for all dogs that have a wait period to be let out 4-8 hrs. If necessary, I have the flexibility to call off work to ensure your pets are well taken care of. From Tuesday to Saturday, I have open availability, allowing me to dedicate ample time to pet care activities, such as walks, feeding, and playtime. This arrangement helps me balance work commitments while ensuring your pets receiving the attention and care they need. In caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment. I ensure to follow detailed instructions provided by the client to meet the specific needs of their dog. For instance, if a dog is anxious during thunderstorms, I am proactive in reaching out via call or text to discuss calming strategies. Additionally, I always clarify any boundaries regarding what I can handle or access in the home and to build a stronger rapport, I will arrange pre-sitting meetings with clients to better understand their preferences and to bond with their dog(s).

I work part-time at the moment, but I am available most weekdays during the day & evening, and during the earlier morning & during the afternoon on weekends. About: Hi there! If your looking for a dog sitter/walker no need to look any further. I’ve taken care of dogs of a variety of ages and sizes my whole life. I love dogs and have always found them great companions. I have grown up with Golden Retrievers and Cavaliers, so I am comfortable with large and small dogs. I have also had pets in the past with medical issues and am well aware of how to administer medicine and take attentive care if needed. In addition, I have experience with puppies, both my dogs are grown now but I’ve had them since they were puppies. I am used to puppy life with my Cavapoo (Myles), he is very energetic and playful. Hank on the other hand, my Golden, would rather sleep all day, unless we are playing fetch. As a result, I know how to handle pets with different needs, some energetic and some older not so energetic ones. I often dog sit and walk for family and friends, have had paid sitting jobs in the past, as well as bathe and brush my dogs. I am willing and happy to care for your dogs according to your preferences, as well as hangout and play with them so they can have some fun while your away! I work during the week 9-6 sometimes I get off earlier at 4 or 5. I could do morning before work or afternoons after if needed! I also can do most weekends. I am however moving in August so I am only available till the end of summer. I take my dogs on walks around the neighborhood, let them run around outside if there is a safe space. My dogs like to play fetch so I am happy to throw a ball or any other toy to entertain them. I always take my dogs on leash when outside and would make sure to abide by any rules parents might ask of me. I occasionally treat my dogs when they are good pups, so I would make sure to ask the parents about feeding preferences as well as allergies and dietary restrictions.
“Faith has watched our Shiba Inus multiple times now, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She’s reliable, responsive, and truly great with our dogs—even administering medication to our elderly Shiba with no issues. Most recently, she helped us out while we were in the hospital for the birth of our son. We weren’t sure how many drop-ins we’d need or how long we’d be gone, but she was incredibly flexible and quick to respond. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Gianna did a great job. I enjoyed the pictures she sent at the beginning and end of each visit. The girls enjoyed her company, they were relaxed and happy when we returned home. I will definitely use Gianna again!”

“Kristy was very responsive and flexible with booking. I was so relieved knowing Miley was in good hands while I was at work. She put in the extra effort to make sure she was comfortable and took care of her business. The added touch of bringing a dog with her to the drop in visits really helped with Miley’s anxiety issues. Would definitely work with Kristy again.”

“Kristina was fantastic! She came to our home everyday to take care of our two cats while we were away. She sent pictures of each visit and was very responsive. Definitely using her for all our pet care needs!”

Dunkirk pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ruth came by to help out with our two dogs while we were out of state for the day. While we'd met Ruth and Keith once before, we hadn't used their services prior to now. Our two large dogs - specifically the oldest dog - can be VERY stubborn. Like, "might-feel-like-giving-up-convincing-him-to-get-off-the-couch" kinda stubborn. But both Ruth and Keith seemed convinced they could manage it, and they were RIGHT! Ruth came by to help out that day, and she was AWESOME. Apparently, both dogs were easy to deal with (go figure), and they even gave her a little snuggle time while she was here. We will DEFINITELY be contacting Ruth and Keith again in the future. THANK YOU!!

Elizabeth was awesome and patient with my 2 German shepherds while I was traveling here in Lynchburg. She helped them through their anxiety and nervousness being at a new place and made connections with them, took them for a walk and gave them love and attention. Her background with animals really helps a lot. I highly recommend her
