About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years, including having my own dogs. I am a travel nurse and I usually volunteer to walk dogs at shelters when I’m on assignment. I work full time as a nurse, but I only work 3 days a week. My schedule is usually free on the 4 days a week that I’m off of work. I am currently living in an apartment while on assignment in North Beach, Md, so I can only take car of pets in your own home.
About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for about 10 years now, through my friends, family, neighbors and my own 2 puppies! I’m a college athlete who’s very active, so I’m happy to run/play and keep energetic dogs exercised while also making sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for! About: I grew up walking dogs at the humane society and have had a dog all my life. I now have had my dog, Lou, for 7 years. He is a huge German Sheppard mix, he’s full of anxiety, but communicative in his cues to me and has taught me a lot. My friends have always had dogs and I loved being able to take care of them while they were away! I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I have an incredibly flexible schedule and can dedicate as much time as needed. I am here for what you need! I can walk, feed, watch, and hangout with your dog. About: I’ve had my knee replaced which has slowed me down a tad but also allows me be to home all the time. We recently lost our old boy (dog of 12 years) and while my cats have helped me to survive, I have so much more love to give! For now I want to spend time with others’ dogs to help fill the whole in my heart. I genuinely want to make every animal a friend of mine! I will always lead with love, care and respect. I work Monday-Friday during the day and home in the late afternoon/ early evenings so weekends are best for boarding but if your dog is crate trained I can take during the week. Ruth came by to help out with our two dogs while we were out of state for the day. While we'd met Ruth and Keith once before, we hadn't used their services prior to now. Our two large dogs - specifically the oldest dog - can be VERY stubborn. Like, "might-feel-like-giving-up-convincing-him-to-get-off-the-couch" kinda stubborn. But both Ruth and Keith seemed convinced they could manage it, and they were RIGHT! Ruth came by to help out that day, and she was AWESOME. Apparently, both dogs were easy to deal with (go figure), and they even gave her a little snuggle time while she was here. We will DEFINITELY be contacting Ruth and Keith again in the future. Amy was awesome!!! I have a senior cat that is very sick and I felt very bad for leaving her but Amy took great care of her. She was very sympathetic to her condition and I feel she went above and beyond. She sent daily updates and photographs. I highly recommend her.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
