“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. About: I have been taking care of the pets of family friends and people who they recommended me to them. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, turtles, and one very friendly cockatiel. I work part-time at the moment, but I am available most weekdays during the day & evening, and during the earlier morning & during the afternoon on weekends. This is of course subject to change in unforeseen schedule changes, but is a fair baseline. I currently have two cats and soon a dog at my own Home, so currently I’m not able to provide boarding. However, I’m able and happy to drive to check in on and take care of your four legged friends, and will make sure to spend as much time with them as you’d like. About: I have had dogs, cats, birds etc my entire life and can take care of any kind of pet young, old, special needs. I currently have a rescue dog named Zena (age 1) and a siberian forest cat named max (age 5) and they get along well with all other animals. I am also fully vetted by the A Darrah Bully Bull Rescue as I've adopted and volunteer for the rescue. I work Monday-Friday during the day and home in the late afternoon/ early evenings so weekends are best for boarding but if your dog is crate trained I can take during the week. Able to do drop in care early mornings and evenings during the week and anytime on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard with a friendly dog and cat at home. Zena would love a playmate or buddy to walk with or swim in her little pool.

I have been trained previously at a luxury boarding facility on dog and cat behaviors/temperaments, body language, breeds, and how to respect and communicate with them. I believe it is so important to make a pet feel safe in their own space and that even one bad interaction is detrimental to the wellness. I am only employed part time at a coffee shop and the hours are limited. I do not mind early mornings or late nights. I have my own vehicle for transportation and pet accessibility if necessary. “WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior.
