(I previously had 2 english mastiffs that crossed the rainbow bridge) I also have chickens and ducks. About: I have cared and trained service dogs. Many family and friends have counted on me to care for their pets and know that I will always put them first. I work about 4 hours a day during the week (Wednesday and Friday) and I’m never gone for over 6 hours at a time while at work. Otherwise I am mostly home and only away for 1-2 hours for errands. Pets have entire first floor. My dogs usually hang out in the huge couch or in the office watching the birds (I set up feeders to entertain my bird dog and he loves it). On nice days I’ll leave the back door open for them to come in/out as they please. They have water both inside and outside the house. Dogs love sunbathing but here is also shade area all day in case they want to stay outside but out of the sun. Backyard is completely fenced.

We wanted someone to come walk and feed Rascal so we could spend a full day exploring downtown DC and the surrounding area. Ashley covered for us every day. Rascal is not used to spending long periods of time alone so Ashley was a blessing. She fed him and took him on a long walk every visit. We felt so good to know Rascal was being cared for by Ashley. She was also flexible with our schedule. We will call on her again if we return to the DC area which is very likely next year. I’m currently a homeschool mom for I’m very flexible. I work part time but I’m available at anytime. I will make sure your babies are well taken care of! I am available three times a day for services and anytime you need your babies needs met. If they need play time we can do that or even just a belly rub after dinner :)

Are they crated while you're away? They'll be crated if I'm not there. Or do they only feel safe in certain rooms or need a "safety toy"? “Found Melonie on Rover and first met her back in January for a meet and greet before a trip I had been planning. That trip ended up not happening, so this was actually our first time using her services. The original meet-up went so well. My dog Sky isn't very socialized and tends to be anxious around new people and places, so how quickly she took to Melonie was a great sign. This was also the first time we'd left Sky with anyone outside of family, so that mattered a lot to us. Since some time had passed, Melonie graciously offered to do another meet and greet before this booking. Sky warmed up to her right away again. This time I brought my daughter along, and she felt just as confident in Melonie as I did. We both knew Sky was in good hands. Melonie has such a calm, pleasant presence, and it clearly puts Sky at ease. She sent us daily updates with pictures throughout the stay, and Sky looked happy and relaxed in every one. “I am always hesitant to leave my dog with anyone, but Marta made me feel so comfortable and I knew Hibana would be in great hands! I knew from the moment we did a meet & greet before we officially did the booking. Helped me get to know her and her own two dogs and it was great! Hibana has the best 5 days there :) and I got pictures every day which made me feel better about leaving my dog lol. Hibana is an apartment dog so she was in love with Marta’s back yard. And since this is Marta’s full time job her attention was on the dogs all the time. Would 100% recommend. If I could give her 10 stars I would lol.”
